That night, You stayed up later than usual. You tapped the pen in your hand against your desk, Following the rhythm of the tapping. Wondering what high school would bring, Luciel  was a year above you. So he had the right to tease you, which angered you to no ends.

You were almost scared for him. You prayed all summer that he wouldn't get into fights like last year. Last year, Luciel dated the cheer captian.. Her name was Solliare. And how annoying she was, But even worse, Luciel always treats the popular girls with more respect than he did you. You sighed, Feeling slightly hurt. And crawled into your white linen bed sheets, Closing your eyes while drifting off to the soft ticking of your bedside clock.

Zhh Zhh Zhh

Your clock alarmed you of the time. 7:00am it was, Too early for you at the very least. Rolling out of your bed, You grab your clothes, Which were quite preppy. You had joined the student council, So today you had to make your first impression dazzling. It's likely Luciel would join you on the bus, Which excited you. Once done in the bathroom, You dressed and shuffled down your old wooden stairs. "Ma, I'll see you after school." You yell. But before you walk out the door she of course, Lectures you and pecks you on the cheek.

Breathing in the crisp air, You slowly make your way to the old bus stop. No Luciel, You know Mrs. Robin would never let Luciel miss the first day. So that comforted you in the slightest, Sighing  as the familiar yellow bus trudged infront of you. Guess Luciel missed it today, He'll be grumpy today. But you focused more on your appearence. As you walked down the seat lined isle, You felt your heart pound, Many were staring. As you walked you felt a hand tug at your bag.  "Hey, Y/n. Sit here." Of course you recognized the voice to be none other then one of Luciel's exs. Margaret, With a giggle following after. You knew this ride would be horrible.

But before you were able to sit, The doors slammed open. Revealing the all so familiar boy, Luciel.
