The Men's Skating Grand Prix Final has just ended. All of the other skaters went home to finally have a break before the next season would begin. But 25 year-old Katsuki Yuri and his Russian coach Viktor Nikiforov left slowly. As they walked out into the icy roads hand in hand, they planned carefully for their future. Viktor had decided to return to skating, remaining as Yuri's coach. To make things simpler for them, they had decided to move to the Katsuki resort in Japan. That way, they would have a rink to practice at whenever they had desired.

So, Viktor flew back to Russia to pack up anything that he needed. Luckily, his dog Makkachiin was already in Japan, so there was no worry about getting him there efficiently and safely. Yuri had gone back to his home in Japan to prepare for Viktor's arrival. He cleaned up his room, and got a second, real bed, for Viktor. It was simpler to share a room, in order to allow there to be more guests at once. With one bed on each side of the room, Yuri was ready to meet Viktor, so he packed up and headed to the airport.

Viktor's P.O.V.
Once I had packed up all of my belongings remaining in Russia, I began heading to the airport to meet my fellow skater and student, Katsuki Yuri. We have decided to live together to make the coaching and skating easier. I packed up clothing, essentials, and of course my medals. Most of my stuff, including my beloved dog, was already at the home, ready for my arrival.

While driving, I started asking myself, how. How did I get this far? How did coaching someone because of a video turn into what I thought of as being love? He may not see it as love, but I love him more than anyone can imagine. It doesn't need to be said though. Love is a feeling. Not something someone says and you believe. It has to be there and shown. So, I haven't told him anything since skating. Glaring down at my shiny, golden ring, I realized something I never have before. This boy, this relationship, is love. It always has been to me at least.

Skating has always been an odd love for me too. I love the sport, people loving me for what I do, and for who I am. Not just how I skate, but what I can help to do for others. That's why I was drawn towards Yuri. His passion to reach my level. To be his own definition of perfection. I had never seen such determination before. Being inexperienced as a coach had it's ups and downs, but he was the perfect first student. Determination, passion, and a drive for success brought me to Japan. Not his looks or charm, but personality.

As I drove near the airport, I parked my rental car and got into a shuttle bus. Going through security was boring, but it's one step closer to seeing the people who love and care about me. I rushed through security and the airport and boarded onto the plane. Only a few hours for the flight, which wasn't so bad regarding the other flights I've been on for competitions. I sat down, laid my head down on a pillow I had brought, and hoped to sleep for the rest of the flight. When I wake up, I will hopefully see my future, my friends, my happiness. Love for myself. Love for others. Things I love that no one can ever change or take away. Love is the key to my happiness.
