Viktor's P.o.v.
"Oh my god, Yuri! I'm so glad to see you! It's been forever!" I shouted, not caring what others thought anymore.
"It's been two. Days. Viktor." Yuri said almost in an embarrassed way. He's so cute when he's embarrassed. He gets all flustered and almost stops working properly. Then it turns into this cute giggling in an attempt to cover it up, although he is already blushing like crazy. This boy is going to be the end of me one day.
I got up and decided helped him up too. "H-here. I can help with the luggage. We can just get a taxi outside," he muttered trying to keep his cool. We carefully strolled out of the airport after collecting my extra luggage at the return. Yuri thought that I had brought way too many items, but I couldn't help it if I wasn't good at being a light traveler. You'd think I was good at it after all of these competitions.
We got to the taxi and hastily stuffed everything in the trunk. Yuri told the man where to go, and Yuri and the driver appeared to have recognized each other. "So sir, did you find your girlfriend?" He chuckled. The driver had asked Yuri this question as if they were long time friends.
"Ummmm. S-Sure. She is going in a separate taxi t-to have her stuff with her...," he answered stuttering. I started to go off in a haze, looking out of the window. I had accidentally began thinking of what I loved even more about him. Thinking of just a few of my favorite things. It was hard to think of anyone else around him for that long during competition. I couldn't change my thoughts no matter how hard I had repeatedly tried to.
Yuri was the perfect hugging height. His head was at the correct height to not hurt or be awkward. Yuri gets all flustered when it comes to our relationship. He acts as if we are just friends around other people. Yuri liked to go off on a tangent about things that he loved. Books, movies, and people he looked up to and praised. If he found a good show or book he would freak out. It may not seem like it, but Yuri can be a real softie about books. He barely has time to read due to his busy schedule, but he will always do his best to find a way.
Yuri can just sit down and eat forever. During a skating season, where does it all go? Yuri can always make me laugh. Over the most stupid, little things. It still works. When he is busy helping out with the resort or practicing, he always finds time to call or text me in between if I'm not there with him already. He always found time for the people he loves.
Yuri does not care what others think of him. He is always his quirky, loving, and adorable self. He allows his true self to shine through around me. He doesn't try to hide his emotions either. If something is bothering him he will cry or just do whatever it takes to allow him show it.
I was in this daze for a while, but it only felt like a mere minute. Before I knew it, Yuri quickly poked me in the side to assist in getting my attention. Letting out a small yelp, I jolted up, slamming my head against the roof of the vehicle. It hurt but got me out of that daze.
Yuri paid the driver, then rushed got out of the car to go to the trunk. We were finally at the Katsuki home. I hopped out and joined Yuri at the trunk.
We successfully got all of my luggage out of the car in one trip. So, we rolled and carried it all up to the house. The whole family was there to greet us at the door. That was when Makkachin rushed into the room and pounced on me. Everything dropped from my hands. I finally felt like I was at my home in Russia. It was so nice to finally be reunited with everyone who loved me. Everyone who cared.
Everything was placed into Yuri's room until they set up the room that I was to be staying in. They were a bit busy that weekend, so I had to just stay in Yuri's room for a night or two until it cleared up.
Yuri had made his room look nice, not that there was any need to, but it looked decent to me. He had taken down all of the posters of me that he "hid" last season. He loves me. It's a beautiful and adorable thing that he tries to hide. But how can I bring that up in a casual conversation?
I pondered on this question until I fell asleep. I practically crashed onto the bed that Yuri had brought in for me. It was nice to not sleep on the floor, in a hotel, or on a plane. I felt relaxed for the first time in what seemed like forever. Yuri was somehow still awake when I passed out into a deep and calm slumber. Maybe because of the plane and time zones, but I was exhausted. Makkachin joined me as we slept in silence just how it should be. At home with who I loved unconditionally.
