I was supposed to upload this part and the one after this a long time ago (September-October-ish for both parts) I didn't have the draft of the second one even started, only the title done with no ideas for it until tonight. But i realized I hadn't written a fluffy one shot part for awhile, and I know someone will definitely love this for being both normal version and fluffy. And also you all should I started this at midnight, but I hope you all like these crappy one shots. I literally had to restrain myself from making both plot lines a evil planet Dolan one, but luckily they didn't seem to be an evil planet Dolan story plot so yeah. Not gonna spam even more evil SPD tonight in this one shot book...
HellBent had just finished recording a video he and D.M.B had planned to make together, but D.M.B had bailed out at the last second so he had to do it alone again. After HellBent cleaned up his desk, he decided he would go for something to eat since he had to skip breakfast from rushing to get everything set up by himself.
As he was passing by D.M.B's room, he heard a loud 'ACHOO!' come from the other side of the door with a few sniffles following. Curiosity has gotten the best of the demon as he opened the door. He stepped in, the room being almost completely pitch black besides the stream of light coming in from the hallway light. HellBent's glowing golden eyes scanned the room, not seeing anything inconspicuous or off about the room, besides the lump of blankets on the bed. Another "ACHOO!" Had indeed answered the demon's suspicion, walking over to the big nest of blankets, his eyes searching for D.M.B's somewhere. "D.M.B? Are you okay...?" The demon asked with concern lacing his normally cold voice. "Y-yeah... I'm f-fine.... S-Sorry for backing out on the last s-second on y-you..." D.M.B was obviously trying to keep himself from sounding stuffed up, but the attempt was in vain as the had demon picked up on it.
"It's okay, I pulled through. You sound really sick so I understand, don't worry so much." HellBent felt sympathetic for D.M.B, knowing he was really sick. Wanting to help him out, the demon got an idea. He turned on a lamp, to which D.M.B buried himself deeper into his cocoon of blankets with a loud groan and a mumbled curse. HellBent chuckled, he bounded out of the room. First heading downstairs to ask Melissa to make a big pot of chicken noodle, before going to the bathroom and looking in the medicine cabinet for some ibuprofen. Grabbing a box of tissues, a bottle of water, and extra pillows. The demon ran in, out of breath and balancing all the acquired items in his arms. D.M.B barely raised his head to look at the demon. HellBent placed down the medicine on the side table, getting D.M.B to be propped up by the extra pillows and handing him the water bottle to take the medicine. After medicating him to help with his high fever. Melissa had come in with a steaming bowl of chicken noodle soup.
At this point the medication had already begun to work, so when HellBent took the bowl of soup and sat on the edge of the bed, D.M.B thought he'd get it, but turns out the demon had other plans. HellBent held the bowl away from D.M.B the moment he reached for it, confusing him. What the demon did next confused him even more. HellBent picked up the spoon, lightly blowing on the steaming soup. Holding his hand under the spoon and holding it out to D.M.B. "I-I can feed myself H-HellBent, I'm not a baby..." D.M.B groaned, feeling his face heat up a bit. "Open wiiiiiiiide~!" HellBent completely disregarded the objection from D.M.B, making it clear he won't give in. After thinking about it for a moment, D.M.B reluctantly complied. The light pink tint from his fever growing ever more intense each spoonful of soup until the whole bowl was emptied. Now D.M.B was feeling tired, his cold took a lot of his energy.
HellBent noticed this, setting the bowl aside and readjusting the pillows so he could rest. D.M.B just began to close his eyes when he felt the bed sink beside him, cracking open an eye to look over at the demon who now sat next to him. What HellBent did next surprised D.M.B. The demon had wrapped his arms around D.M.B protectively and had pulled him to his chest in a big embrace, an alarming sound rumbling from his chest and from the back of his throat, a sound that couldn't be said to be anything other than a purr. "H-HellBent.... what are you d-doing..?" D.M.B asked, sleepily looking up at the demon who simply gave him a warm smile and nuzzled his forehead, his tail gradually wrapping around him. The rhythmic sound of HellBent's heartbeat and his gentle purring, plus D.M.B's exhaustion had won him over and he relaxed into the demon's arms.
"Aren't y-you worried about getting sick...?" D.M.B asked, trying his hardest to stay awake, enjoying the care he was being given. "Nah, I'm not too concerned about a cold. I don't get sick easily, and even if I do, it doesn't stunt my participation in daily activities." The demon shook his head a little, readjusting himself so he was more comfortable. "You're just stubborn.." D.M.B gave a meek smile. "I don't regret it. Getting sick is worth taking care of you." HellBent just chuckled heartily, his eyelids beginning to feel heavy with sleep. "Thank you." D.M.B drifted off to sleep after that, a small smile still remaining on his face, HellBent soon followed after him.

The next morning...
"ACHOO!!" The demon sneezed, snuggled into the covers. Shivering as his red skin was a million degrees hotter than hell. "You were saying...?" D.M.B raised an eyebrow, looking at the demon curled up in a cocoon of blankets on his bed. "Just shut your pretty face and cuddle me already..." HellBent's stuffed up voice growled in response from the pile of blankets. D.M.B just playfully rolled his eyes.
