Quickly done within 20 minutes, lazily done so I might edit it in the future, but this is what it is so far, not too bad since it's now 2:30 A.M....

The anxious demon paced around the hospital reception area, making marks in the floor from how much he was pacing, his expression grim and pressed into a look of concentration and anxiety. He had to keep himself from itching at the bloody bandages wrapped around his head and scratching the equally bloodied bandages wrapped around his hands and up his arms, and along his torso. The doctors and nurses were all aware who he was and why he was there. Because of a car crash, they were all really confused why he didn't have some kind of shock or head trauma from hitting his head really badly on the car.

A doctor came out, whom of which HellBent knew was the one looking after the most important person in his life. "HellBent..?" The doctor addressed with a solemn tone in his voice. The demon snapped his gaze from the floor at the doctor, his pupils dial aged and in a flash he was in front of him and gripping his collar, practically frothing at the corners of his mouth. "Where is he?!" HellBent seethed with gritted teeth, the doctor simply pointed down the hall to the ICU section of the hospital. "Room 27 around the c-corner, c-could you let g-go please? Sir?" The doctor begged, the demon huffed, letting go of the doctor and running down the hall, searching for room 27.

Almost ripping the door off its hinges when he got to the door. He braced himself for what he'd see when he walked in, but he didn't expect what he saw. D.M.B was hooked up to life support, his eyes were shut, his complexion in general looked pale, or what could be seen past the layers of bloody bandages on him. HellBent screwed his eyes shut and choked back a cry, trying to get the image that was now burned into his mind out of his head. He swallowed hard, taking a seat next to D.M.B's bed, gingerly taking his hand in his own.

This cycle continued on and on, the doctor said there was a chance he'd never wake up, but HellBent didn't want to believe it. Today was day they were gonna pull the plug. He was convinced it was his fault D.M.B was the way he was now. Laying in bed looking like death himself, lifeless and cold, getting thinner by the day. HellBent sat in the same seat, dark bags under his bloodshot eyes that were glazed over and clouded with sorrow. He held D.M.B's hand, but this time, pressed it against his cheek as another tear slipped. "It's all my fault... I wanted things to be perfect... but instead, look where I got you when you should be smiling and helping the team." He choked on a sob that threatened to escape from the back of his throat. "I was gonna confess to you how much I loved you in the park.... ask you to go out with me with the hope you'd accept..." HellBent gave a self depreciating smile, remembering D.M.B talking to him for the first time, the day he knew he was in love on first sight. "I never had thought this day would come... never dreamt of it to happen like this... I-I have to let you go..." HellBent cried, letting his bottled up emotions out as tears flowed down his face.

"...knowing you're leaving me before we even get together." HellBent finished his sentence.
