(Mark's POV)

"Ughh, I hate my life," I whined to Jinyoung.

"Oh boohoo, it's your fault anyways that you got detention. You should've put your phone away," Jinyoung scolded me.

"Yah, what was so important that you didn't want to put your phone away?" Jaebum asked.

I blushed and looked away. "Um, I was kind of talking to Jackson."

"What do you mean 'kind of' Mark?" Jinyoung asked next.

I bit my lip. "I mean, we were just sending each other pick-up lines."

"MARK TUAN!" Jinyoung yelled at me.

I turned even more red.

"Get some boi!" Jinyoung told me.

God, please help me.

"I'll just go now." I quickly walked over to my car.

"Wow! No goodbye??" I hear Jinyoung shout behind me.

"Bye biotches!!!" I yelled back sassily.

I went inside my car and drove home.

"Detention!!!??"

I flinched and covered my ears.

"Yes."

My mom pulled my hands off my ears.

"I am disappointed in you Tuan Yi-en!" She yelled directly into my ears.

Ouch, I think I'm deaf.

When I came home, my mom and dad were watching tv in the living room, so I decided it was a good time to tell them about my detention and sign my slip. Bad choice. I should've just faked a signature:/

"Honey, calm down," my dad told her in a gentle voice.

"How can I be calm, when this boy just told me that he got detention," she pointed angrily at me.

I gave get her an apologetic smile, "Sorry mom."

"You better be," my mom fired back.

"Hey, at least the boy did something with his life for once. Albeit, it wasn't a good one, but at least something," my dad said to try and lighten up the mood.

Now I wasn't the only one to be deaf.

Oh my stress.

After a very silent and awkward dinner, my mom told me to go do my homework. Not wanting to make her mad even more, I went to my room and did it. She would check on me from time to time to see if I actually listened to her.

I finished writing the last sentence.

"And...done!" I said out loud.

"Mom! I'm down with my homework!" I yelled out to her.

"Good!" She yelled back to me.

Sigh.
