I woke up to the cold winter air blowing from the window and into my face. I exhaled and saw the snow slowly falling from the beautiful morning sky. I try to get up, but my legs were still tied together. I yelled:
"HAY! ARE YOU THERE!?!"
The man came through the door and asked:
"Is there something wrong?"
I looked at him with a strong stare and said:
"Can you untie my legs so I can put pants on? It's really cold if you didn't know..."
He looked shocked, he said:
"But you're wearing pants..."
I looked down and he was right. I was wearing pants. They were camouflaged military cargo pants with thick Fabric that was surprisingly comfortable. I said:
"Oh... I didn't see... I'm sorry..."
He shook his head and looked down.
"It's okay, now come on, you need to work now."
Work? What does he mean by work? He just kidnapped me and now he wants me to work!!! I said okay and he lead me to the back where I would work in the snow. My legs had long chains attached around them ad led to the house. I finally got a look at the old house. It was made of mostly brick and wood. There were little windows and doors. Only one that I saw.

After About an hour of pure, physical work, he finally let me back in. He took the chains off my legs and I finally felt comfort... Not much though. I missed my parents, My grandparents must have been overly worried. I told them about the stalker and they were scared enough. It was about midday. I went upstairs to take a nap. The man just lets me roam around his house and treats me like I'm not even here. Right as I got in bed I got an amazing idea on how I could get out. I know that he has a survival pack in the living room and he has a combat knife in the kitchen. I could grab those two things and leave. I could find my way back slowly. It was a stupid idea but it's better than staying here. Dinner came along and he had a chicken that he hunted down earlier that day. It wasn't cooked enough but I didn't mind. At least I was eating food. That night I got ready for the next day, I would be out and have to find my way back to Valdez. My thought was that we were In between Valdez and Anchorage. If you drew a straight line from anchorage and Valdez and went to the middle and did a 90 degree line to the left and went that way for about 20 miles. That's where I think we were. (It's confusing, I know...) I went to sleep, somewhat excited to get home and drink some hot chocolate, the kind my mom makes.

The day finally came. I woke up extra early that day and snuck downstairs. He didn't tie my legs that night before for some odd reason. I grabbed the pack and knife. I also decided to grab his gun. I went outside, that night it didn't snow so it should be a little wormer. I ran into the forest ahead and didn't look back. I heard him yelling:
"You can run but you can't hide!!! I WILL find you!!!"
I kept on running not caring for what he said. The worst thing happened... It started to snow 'no, no, no!' I thought to myself. I saw a cave so I decided to stay there for the night. I looked in the bag to see what was in there. There was only a medical kit and a fire starting kit. I took out the flint and steel and took some dry foliage and started a fire IN the cave. The cave had a big entrance and it was really long. I didn't was to explore the whole thing yet. I was to focused on starting a fire. I watched enough survival shows to know that I need to find a source of water, food and fire. I had the fire and the water (snow) but I still need the food. I also knew that I shouldn't eat any Berries that I didn't recognize. I could always hunt, I had the knife and the old rusty shotgun. I set up a good place to sleep, I grabbed dry leafs and made a little 'mattress' and I would use the backpack as a pillow. I still had the whole day ahead of me so I decided to go look for a future dinner and breakfast. The backpack had food but I decided on using it as a backup In case of an emergency.

I couldn't find anything 'big' but I did get a rabbit. It was hard to force myself to kill him... But I needed him. I started marking the wall with the dates. I knew the day I got kidnapped was the 21st and now would be the 23rd. My birthday is on the 10th of January so I still have about three months left. The fire burned a bright red and orange. It was comfortable to watch, it made me fell... Calm, I guess you can say that... I cooked the rabbit over the fire; I could see the pink skin of the animal turning brown. When it was finally cooking I took it in my hands and said a little prayer:
"God, thank you for this meal, please keep me safe on my Way back to my grandparents' house. Amen"
I wasn't a really religious person but I might as well try to believe in something right now. I bit into the rabbit tearing of a piece of its flesh and savoring the taste of something new. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but I still ate. I ate until my stomach rejected anything I put in it. I yawned getting in 'bed' and closed my eyes and thought about Tomorrow...
But I was interrupted by a sound... A terrible sound... A sound of an animal... Growing from the end of the cave...
