My body never gets used to the conditions here ; the weather , the infrastructure, the people. So I get sick quite a lot . I walk around with with a tight chest , snotty nosed and red eyes. Most times if I get into a warm place on time the symptoms stop immediately, and for a long time too, I wouldn't feel sick for months . But sometimes I wake up with the teary eyes , one can only suppress the symptoms for so long, and run out of distractions. Do that long enough and you'll get a visit in your dreams .
Every night I dread the morning when I'll wake up alone , and when it comes I'll dive back into my addictive dreams .
Dreams that aren't nightmares can be scary too, in the way that they keep calling to you. When I'm sick I know what I will see when my eyes close and what's worse , in the dream I know what I will see when they open. But I keep going back. I know that the rude awakening reinfects me and one day I won't survive it but it is there that I don't feel dismally, hopelessly, constantly and terrifyingly alone .
