Monday came around, every kid slumping through the halls of Grayton High. Lexi was probably the only happy person, mainly because she drinks coffee every morning. "Is Justin still coming to Florida with us?" She whispered so no one heard.

"I'm not sure. Ask him." The late bell rang, meaning they were late for reading. So was Justin. They all glanced at each other.

"I was explaining something about the book?" Justin asked, and the two girls walk in behind Justin. "Sorry Mrs. Maben. These ladies had questions about the book."

"It's okay. Girls, open your literature books to page sixty nine-"

Everyone including Lexi, Bella, and surpisingly Justin giggled. "And answer all the questions that page." Maben scowled at everyone's childish behavior. Bella started doing her work, until Kyle burst in the room with security holding him back"

"Bella! Dad's in the hospital." He said before security pulled him back out. Lexi and Bella got up and ran out the doors. Justin and Maben were right behind them as Kyle was being held to the ground. "Bella, he's your dad and mine too. Please?"

"If I'm going to Florida you have to see your father." Justin whispered. "Guys, let him go. His father's in the hospital and he's telling his sister. Let him be."

Nodding, they let go of Kyle. "Mr. Bieber, would you do the hon-"

"Mrs. Maben, I don't think it's appropriate to-"

"You know her parents from tutoring don't you? Please go and make sure they don't do anything.. they won't regret?" Maben asked sincerely, and Justin gives in walking with them. He wasn't so sure about going to the hospital with Bella. I lied about meeting Bella's parents. I'm not good with parents.. I wasn't even close to mine.

Justin and Lexi sat in the chairs outside of room fifty seven waiting for Bella and Kyle. "I think they'd appriciate you coming Justin." Lexi said, smiling.

"I don't feel comfortable."

"Come on Justin! You're acting like you're a forty year old teacher." Lexi said, turning to look at Justin. "You're two years older than us. You communicate with Zack like he's your best friend from a frat party. The way you dress, tells you don't want to be a student teacher. Either someone or something is forcing you to do this Justin. You don't want to be a teacher, you can tell by the way you give Maben excuses and the first day you came in sweats and was on twitter the whole time."

After Lexi's little speech, Bella walked out with a crying Kyle behind him. "H-He's not dead, but he's in a coma. After my dad was let out for the bus ride to New York he threw scortching hot coffee on a police officer and tried to stab another one. A newbie shot him in the shoulder then another one knocked him out but a little too hard I suppose." Bella explained in complete shock.

Jake and Holly came out next, hugging Kyle and Bella.

"Justin, thanks for coming with us, b-but I think I'll go home. Thanks again." Justin was expecting to get up and assure everything's going to be alright to Bella, but instead she hugged him, and Lexi gave him that look. He sure understood it, so he hugged back.

"It'll be alright." Justin whispered with a smile.

Justin arrived back in the middle of third period. "Is everything alright?" Maben asked.

"Yeah, her family's just going through a rough time." Justin whispered back, and noticed Lexi and Bella left their bags at their seats. I'll grab them before I leave this period for my break.

Back at the Domenico household, Bella was curled up in her bed with a book and her glasses. Her real glasses. She's always wore contacts and told no one about them except for Lexi. It's probably fourth period at school now, thought Bella as she closed her book. Then it hit her.

I can't leave to Florida leaving an unstable family behind. Spring break plans, sadly, have to be cancelled.
