~Chapter Nine~

~(y/n)'s P.O.V~

I aimed my hammer at Anna, but, InuYasha stepped in front of me. "Let me handle her." "But-" "If your boyfriend wants to be the first to go, then, so be it!" Anna then pulled out another spear. InuYasha rushed up to Anna, and, they started brawling.

I can't watch this, no matter what InuYasha tries, nothing seems to be working. InuYasha was panting heavily, while, Anna seemed to be just fine. "Fool! You think you can honestly defeat me!?" "Even if I can't...I have to try! Wind scar!" InuYasha aimed another wind scar at Anna, which she easily dodged.

Everything seems hopeless. Every time I try to join the fight, InuYasha holds me back. And, to make matters worse, InuYasha has taken a lot of beatings. What can I do to help!?

Maybe, if InuYasha went into his demon form....No, that wouldn't work. InuYasha can't think clearly when he's in his demon form. Wait, that gives me an idea. If I went into a full-demon form....Could I defeat Anna? Kyra said I had to channel my inner demon. Could this be what she meant? But, if so, what would trigger my demon form? InuYasha's trigger is when he loses his tessaiga. So....What do I have to give up?

I need to think, and fast. What to give up.....Come on, think! That's when it hit me. I started focusing. Kyra.....If you want me to save the world, I need your help. "Very well...." I looked up, to see Kyra, smiling. "I will lend you my power..." My hammer began to glow. "What does this mean?" "I think you know what you have to do...." Kyra then vanished.

Okay, time to do this. I focused, and, my hammer started glowing. "Come on, work!" I then smashed the ground. Just as I had hoped, a portal opened up. "InuYasha, leave, while you can!" "Are you crazy?!" "Get in!" "No-" I then ran up to InuYasha, and, punched him in the gut. He collapsed. "I'm sorry....." I then threw InuYasha into the portal.

After he made it through,the portal closed. I felt power surging through me. It all makes sense now. To become a full demon, I had to give up InuYasha. I don't know if I'll ever see him again, but, for the sake of the world, I must fight! "You honestly think you can beat me?" "I don't think...." My teeth got sharper, my nails got longer,and I felt much stronger. I guess this is what it must feel like to be a full demon. ".....I know I can defeat you! Anna, YOU'RE GOING TO HELL TODAY!"
