I wake up in Levin and Malichi's room.

I get up off the floor.
"Boys it's time to get up"I say
I saw them both roll over
"I'll go get breakfast started "I say
I walk downstairs
I see Zoey,Laurence,Garroth,Dante and Katelyn sat at my dinning room table.
"Good morning Lady Aphmau "Laurence says
"Morning all. The boys are just getting ready "I say
"I see . I made breakfast "Zoey says
"Thank you Zoey "
I sit down
"How are you feeling M'lord "Garroth asks
"It's gonna be hard today but the further they are away from here the better. If they got hurt...
The boys appear at the bottom of the stairs
"PANCAKES"Levin yells before rushing to his seat
I smile
"Mmmm my favourite"Malachi says sitting in his chair .
"What time does the boat leave "Katelyn says
"Midday "Dante says
"Very well. That gives us time to make the final preparations "I say
"Anyone see Aaron today . I'd like to have a word "Laurence says
"Are we sure we trust that man "Dante says
"He saved me and Laurence's life. I trust him alright "I say
"Agreed"Laurence says
"But no . We haven't seen him"Garroth says
"I should go"I say getting up and placing my plate and cup into the sink.
I kiss Levin and Malichis heads before rushing out
"She's not coping "Zoey says
"She's hurting but putting on a brave face. She has too"Katelyn says
"She's right. We should get started "Garroth says
"Will you be alright here Zoey "Laurence says
"My posts here anyway so they'll be alright "Dante says
"Someone should probably go catch up with Aphmau "Katelyn says
"Give her time to think first "Laurence says
They all nod
Midday
I walk down to the docks.
Laurence,Garroth and Dante met me there.
I saw everyone getting on the boat
"Wow. That's a big boat "Levin says
"Isn't it sooo cool"Malachi says
I smile
I kneel down to Malachi's level
"Now Malachi you have to promise me your going to take care of Levin. And when you come back everything will be fine. I know it "
"Mom is someone trying to hurt us "
"No but you're not safe here at the moment darling. Just know I will always love you. No matter how far away you both are"
"I love you too mom"Malachi says before hugging me
He walks over to Zoey
"Mom do I get a hug now "Levin says
"Of course you do "I say hugging him
"Levin,I love you always remembered that. When you come back I promise you can have as many pancakes and as much ice cream as you want "
"Yeah "
"I love you too mama. Why are you crying "Levin asks
"Just don't think I'm giving up on you because I would never leave you. I am not abandoning you but You just have to go away for a while. "
"Adult stuff "
"Yeah "
"Are you scared mama "
"Terrified sweetie but I'm going to be alright we all are . Now come here both of you "
I hug the boys tightly
"I'm really sorry Aph. It's time to go "Zoey says
I let them go and stand up
"Zoey. Thank you. Please look after my boys "
"You don't have to ask and I won't let them come to any harm"
"Thank you.
"This is goodbye old friend "Zoey says hugging me
"I guess it is old friend"
She lets go of me.
They then walk onto the boat and it began to sail away
"Bye mama, bye Garroth , bye Laurence, bye Dante"Levin says
We all smile
"Bye Boys, bye Zoey "They all say
And then the boat was gone.
I turn to them
"They're safe now"Garroth says
"But they're my children "
Later
Laurence was walking me home
There wasn't much to do. To talk about
"Aphmau "
"Yes Laurence "
"Be honest with me "
"Always "
"You're hurting but you don't want us to know that but it's okay "
"Laurence I feel so helpless "

"I sent my children away... what kind of mother does that make me"
"A good one... because you are not selfish enough to keep them here. Aphmau you did the right thing "
"Laurence why does everyone I ever love leave or get hurt "
Why was I crying. I couldn't cry in front of Laurence
Then I feel two arms around me
"I'll never leave you Aph"He says
"Thank you "
"Come on. "Laurence says taking my hand and leading me somewhere
We stop by the old oak tree.
"Remeber this "
"We spent every living moment by this tree when we were kids "I say
I walk around and see Levin and Malachi's names engraved into the tree
"Well I think someone else's names are here too "Laurence says pointing at side he was leant against.
I sit down and the Laurence does beside me
"What did I do so wrong "
Laurence takes my hand
"We all have to make mistakes. It's how we learn. Our mistakes of the past do not define us. What does is what we choose to do next. How we move in and how we get back up. When the war is over and it will be over soon . We may have a few knocks but then we get back up and we try all over again "
"Laurence how is it possible that you still have hope for me , this village"
"While there is still life on this earth. There's is still hope "
I rest my head in his shoulder
"this afternoon at the docks. That wasn't goodbye . That was until we find a way. So they can be safe again "

I smile

I look up at him
He kisses me
Why wasn't I pushing him away
As of late I'd had these new feeling that I'd never felt before but I had to squash them. I couldn't get distracted
Laurence sat back
"Lady Aphmau I am so sorry "He says getting up to leave
I keep hold of his hand
He sits back down and I lean my head against his chest
But I don't think I can hide it anymore
