This cannot be happening...

Tobys POV

The thought of me leaving Rosewood later on today terrified me. Rosewood PD landed me a job in California which I was never going to turn my nose up at. Yvonne was coming with me. Maybe we would start a family over there, get married & have kids? Or maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Before leaving, I knew I had to say goodbye to everyone. Emily was working her shift in the brew, so I figured i'd go on and get a coffee and say goodbye at the same time. "kill two birds with one stone" or so to speak.

As i walked into the store, the oh-so familiar scent of coffee and pastries filled my nostrils. A smile crept across my face and i reminisced on the memories that this place held. I ordered my coffee but as I spun round i recognised her. Small stature, brunette hair and a voice that haunted my every waking hour. How? Why was she back? I thought she was gone for good. She should've been gone for good!!

Without a second thought i spun round on my heels and I ran, i didn't plan on stopping until I reached home. My mind was buzzing with unaswered questions. The main one, how? How was she back? I never thought I'd see her face again. When i finally reached home the first thing i did was text everyone i knew, apart from Ezra that is. I knew he still mourned the 'loss' of Aria.

''she's back'' I hit send and anxiously waited on their replies.

'WHAT?!' replied Spencer.

'Toby don't lie' was Hanna's reply, i figured she'd be the least likely to believe me.

'Bro, what do you mean?' came the reply from Caleb.

I didn't get a reply from Emily but i didn't considering she was at work.

Spencer POV

I couldn't wait to get back to DC, in Rosewood brought back to many bad memories. I was just saying goodbye to my family when my phone went off. I flinched at the noise, it had been 5 years and yet I still flinched.

The text was from Toby and it simply read "she's back". My heart started racing, my breath got caught in my throat. This cannot be happening....
