Chapter 9

"I love you very much. You are my angel and no one will get in the way of that. I will kill anyone that tries to take you away from me and that's a promise." He continues to say. After he let out a sigh he got up from the couch and walked to the front door. "I love you Cassidy and I will see you tomorrow.", he said, then he opened the door and left. I heard his car pull out of my driveway then 10 minutes later my mom pulling in. "He left just in time.", I said under my breathe. Before my mom could get to the door I shut off the television and ran up the stairs to my bedroom. I'm still mad at my mom for what she did the other night so I would rather not see her. I went into my room, slammed the door closed and plopped myself on my bed. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and went to the messaging app. I went through my contacts to see who I could text or call. I chose my best guy friend, Austin. He always understands me. Thinking about him makes me blush.
Me: hey how-
Before I could text anymore my phone rang.
Unknown: What are you blushing about darling?
Me: Oh it's nothing.
Unknown: Don't you dare send that text.
Me: Why?
Unknown: Do you really want to find out?
