A Child for Christmas

Chapter 10

Seth

I woke up with my hand gripping the bottom of Haru's shirt. I could hear Jeremy somewhere in the living room, but I couldn't see him since I was facing Haru's chest. I groaned a little, not wanting to get up, but knowing that I have to. What time is it? Doesn't he have to go to work? I sat up, still trapping him with my body. "Why didn't you wake me up? Don't you have to be at work?"

He smiled faintly and answered my question. "No, not today. And you looked so comfortable." He doesn't though. He looked stiff, his hair wasn't even terribly messed up. How'd he sleep?

I realized that if he didn't get me up he must've been sitting all night. "You slept sitting up? You really should've made me move. I'm sorry." I know I'm a bear, he probably couldn't move me on his own without shoving me off, but he could've woke me up.

He shook his head and shooed his hand to tell me it was no problem. "I really do have to pee though, so can you ..."

"Oh, yea". I finished sitting up completely so that he could move. I heard his ankles pop and his back crack as he got up. Damn, he had to be uncomfortable. Jeremy was playing on Haru's laptop. I wasn't sure the game, but I'm sure it wasn't something terrible. "Have you eaten bub?" He shook his head no while still looking at his game. Technology will be the death of his generation. I wonder if there's any other kids on the block for him to play with. Today would've been his last day at school before break, I'm sure a lot of the other schools around here are the same. Hopefully I'll see some children playing out there soon. Jeremy might not want to play with them though. I should call in for his appointment and also call my sister today. I sighed heavily. I'm still so tired. I went to use the bathroom once Haru came out.

My face showed exhaustion, but I know I slept well. I haven't slept that well in a while. My body forced the sleep upon me, which is why I fell asleep on Haru. The underneaths of my eyes were drooping and exposing some bags. I had crust in my eyes, I wiped it out though, so it's not that big of a deal. My eyes were slightly red and my hair held a few knots that I was not looking forward to combing out. My mouth tastes terrible, and overall I just look like shit. I emptied my bladder quickly before washing my hands.

I want to make breakfast, but I don't know what Haru would eat. I yawned interrupting my thoughts. I want to lay back down so badly. I spoke a little louder than normal since I didn't feel like walking over to the living room when I already have to walk upstairs to brush my own teeth. "You brush your teeth bub?"

"Yeeeeeesss". His voice was a little snappy. I'll have to make sure that he doesn't start to get an attitude just because he feels more privileged now.

I brushed my teeth thoroughly and threw some water on my face to wake me up a bit. I was walking past Haru's room to see him bending down looking under his bead. I guess I could see myself being intimate with him. He has a cute butt. I waited until he was out from under his bead before saying anything. Wouldn't want him to bump his head. He turned around and jumped a bit when he saw me. I like to shock him, it's very amusing.

"Um, I want to make breakfast, but I don't know what you eat sooo ...."

"I'm not too picky about that, cook whatever". I didn't believe that for a moment, but I was hungry and didn't want to wait any longer. Hopefully he enjoys what I make.
