So, Fee," He began, "Do you think I could..." his voice trailed off into the night as I looked up at him.

"Could you what?" I asked smiling up at him, he was much taller than me.

"Get your number?" He asked shyly staring at his shoes as we walked.

It took all my will-power not to squeel at the top of my lungs, "Sure," I said, instead, as he pulled out his phone. I told him my number as we walked up to my ride.

"I'll text you," he said, smiling shyly.

"Kay," I replied as I walked through the gate to take my position from the breaker..

The rest of the night went by in a blur, the concert ending and the park emptying faster than I thought it would. Before I knew it the managers were coming to my ride, making sure the guests were all out of the park, and telling me I could go find Ethan and the rest of my area.

"Earth to Fee! Snap out of it!"

I jumped, almost running into a trash can, as Emily waved her hand in my face, bringing me back from my day dreaming.

"What?" I said as I quickly dodged the trash can.

"You were like, all spacey." she replied, "And you almost ran into that trash can."

"That's not out of the ordinary!" Kylie said from in front of us.

"Ha ha," I said sarcastically, playfully shooting her a dirty look, as everyone laughed and agreed.

We walked along, joking and teasing each other, as we made our way to the concert area to help clean up. The smell of spilled beer, and nasty left over food hit me as we got closer. This was the part of concerts I hated the most. We cleaned until about 12, then it was time for us to go, thankfully, to the check in station and clock back out to go home.

"Hey Fee," it was Jill, falling in step beside me,"Wanna stay the night with me? I'll wash your uniform and you can borrow some pjs."

"Yeah, that would be great Jill. Just let me text my mom."

-Hey, Staying with Jill tonight. See you tomorrow. - Fee"

-Ok was the only reply I got back.

"Okay, apparently it's okay with them." I said as we walked into the IHOP some of us stopped at to eat.

We sat down and ordered our drinks. I slid my menu away, not planning to order any food. I looked at Jill, and a few others that were giving me the "look", and grabbed my menu back. I decided that tonight I would just order willingly, and not make them force me. After we ate, Jill and I climbed back into her car and went to her house. The rest of the weekend was uneventfull, just normal work. I didn't hear from nor see Talon again.

I had just gotten off work sunday afternoon and was walking towards the check in station as my phone started to vibrate in my shirt pocket. I grabbed my ID and clocked out, quickly walking around the building to get out of site, so I could get my phone without being seen. I pulled it out of my pocket and punched in the code to my texts,

-Hey (:

A number I didn't recognize.

-Hello? Who is this?

-Talon (: Did I get the wrong number?

-Oh hey, no it's Fee. (:

My heart was racing, "Why am I freaking out?" I whispered to myself as I dialed my moms number to tell her I was off. "He's just a boy!"

About 30 minutes later my mom pulled up, late again as usual. The 20 minute drive home was quiet, with the exception of the radio and my phone vibrating with the texts that I was recieving. We pulled into the parking lot of our apartment, and I ran up the stairs, ready to get in the shower and was my hair after being in the heat all day.
