Double Date

In the next couple of days everything truly went back to normal. Work was busy, once again we were trying to come up with a fresh Fall line-up. Autumn was my favorite season, they had the cutest clothes to me.

I was at my computer with my head phones on when i saw Jackson walk past my office door.

I pulled off my headphones and took off after him. "Hey Jackson." I shouted after him. I knew he heard me, anyone would, him more so since he is a shifter. He chose to ignore me and continued to hop on the elevator.

"Maybe he has somewhere important to be?" Evie said walking up behind me.

"Yeah." I agreed. She handed me some paperwork and then we went to sit in my office.

"He's been kind of distant lately." She said.

"I noticed." I silently agreed with her.

"I don't even know why he bothers to come into work anymore, every since he got that girlfriend of his she consumes all of his time, he literally walks around the office with a blu-tooth in his ear so he can answer her calls, i heard he even walked out of a meeting just to take one of her calls." Evie gossiped.

"What?" I asked. I couldn't believe what i was hearing.

"Yeah, whoever she is, she like completely controls him, i hear she's like really possessive too." She said.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"I was grabbing some folders from him when he stopped and took his call from her. He said and i quote. 'Babe, no, i promise i haven't even talked to her today. You know i love you and only you.' I don't know who she's worried about but she is making sure to sink her claws into him."

"Possibly literally." I mumbled.

"Huh?" She asked.

"Jackson's Girlfriend is a werewolf." I said.

"Oh so you've met her." Evie said coolly "Is she really that evil in person?" She asked.

I looked at her curiously. "No, i've never met her." I said.

Evie's eyebrows pulled together. "Well how about Gage or Deacon?" she asked.

I shook my head "No, Jackson told me shes a rouge or something."

Evie gasped.

"What?" I asked worriedly.

"Bell hun, i know your new to all of this, but even you must know Rogues are bad. They are either shunned from their packs or they choose to leave willingly meaning they don't follow Were laws." She said, this made sense, i remember now Gage had said Vera was to be a Rogue, i hadn't fully understood what it meant then. "Most Rouges are vicious because they don't have the pack to protect them, so they fight often, and they fight dirty." Evie said. "And another thing, if there is a rouge on pack lands then Gage and Deacon should be informed. Have you told Deacon about Jackson's girlfriend?"

"Well he know's that Jackson started dating Quinn but i didn't think to tell him she was a rouge werewolf." I said concerned now.

Now i was determined to talk to Jackson.

When he walked back onto the floor i watched as he raced past my door and then made his way to his office. I stalked into the office with him, Evie hot on my trail.

"Jackson we need to talk." I said, a little of my Future Luna voice leaking through. I know Jackson isn't part of my pack but he would hear the authority in it.

He sat up in his seat and motioned for Evie and I to take a seat.

"Jackson, what's up with you lately? You've been avoiding everyone and putting work on the back burner. Is this because of Quinn?" I asked.
