Chapter 9

(Y/N) stopped and stretched. A smile came up on her lips. She giggled. Dark looked up at her.

"What?" He asked.

"We're–Huh?" Her eyes went forward as she got her camera ready. She started taking pictures as a gust of wind went by.

"Did you get anything?!" Meowth asked as he walked over.

(Y/N) started looking at her camera. A gasp came out of her lips. "It's very blurry, but I've got it!" She bent down as James and Jessie looked over her shoulders. "See! The green blur!"

"I wonder what it is," Jessie said.

"I think that it's the rare Pokèmon," James said.

"I'm not going to stop until I get the best picture ever!" She said as she turned to her companions. "And, what I was giggling about is that we're almost there!"

"We are?"

"It's just over there!" (Y/N) said before she started walking again. She actually kicked something. She looked down and got down on her knees. She picked up an egg.

"An egg?" Dark looked at it before poking it with his nose. The egg moved a little. "It's going to hatch soon."

(Y/N) looked around before standing up. "I'm keeping it."

"Hey, Dark," Meowth looked over at the special Alola Persian.

They were the only ones awake in a two bed hotel room. James was sleeping on the floor, Jessie in one bed, and (Y/N) in the other with an arm around the egg.

"Yeah?" Dark looked over as he looked over with tired eyes.

Meowth walked over and sat by him. "Why did you evolve to look different?"

Dark blink before looking down. He sounded sad as he says, "Well, that's...personal. It has something to do with (Y/N)'s mother."

"Huh?" Meowth looked at him with confusion. "Will...will you tell me?"

"Maybe later," Dark said. "I'm going to sleep."

Meowth nodded before laying down by Dark. Dark's tail curled up over Meowth as they fell asleep together.

"My mother?" (Y/N) whispered to herself, having heard their conversation.

Sorry, short chapter! I've wondering, what would you think about adding a gay Pokèmon on Reader's team? Maybe a Pokèmon later on, or a Pokèmon that she already has.
