Not What You Expect.

Chapter 6: Puppy Love

When I get home I'm surprised to see no one else home. I make my way into the kitchen, my stomach growling. I look at the note on the fridge.

Zach and I went to run an errand. We'll be back, my moms working.

What kind of errand, I huff. Taking a bowl from the cabinet I prepare a bowl of cereal.

About an hour later I hear a car pull up. I am currently in my room looking at the necklace. Debating if I should summon, or whatever, Sasha. The door opens and Jake calls out.

"Tori can you come here?!"

"Fine." I throw my legs onto the floor making my way downstairs.

When I walk down the stairs, my eyes lay on a puppy. My face goes from a scowl to a smile in seconds. I take her from Jake as Zach walks in.

"Hey baby, like the pup."

"Would you stop calling me Baby." I roll my eyes. Petting the pup.

"Her name's Izzie." Jake pipes in.

"How sweet although she looks like a Jade."

"ZeZe seems to only come to Izzie. Sorry b- Tori." Zach stopped before he said anything he would regret.

I held the puppy in my heads. She just snuggled closer to me. She was a sliver lab. Her soft eyes closed. I look at Zach. He smiles then jokingly grabs my phone. He starts taking photos of me and the dog.

After about two hours of the puppy I was ready to sleep. I hand Zach the dog. And make my way upstairs. Opening the door to see Sasha on my bed. I quickly close the door behind me.

"Sasha what the hell?"

"Sorry is it a bad timing?"

"Yeah." I rub my arm.

"Oh I can leave."

"No! It would be nice to talk."

"Talk then." She says.

"So I'm pretty sure Zach got a puppy."

"That's awesome."

"Anything with you?"

"Well Tina has just lost her first scale. It's a beauty. She's a beautiful dragon. Can't wait to see her natural color."

"When can I visit?"

"Whenever."

"Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow!" She giggles and disappears.

Well I guess I'm going to run with dragons tomorrow.

Waking up in a good mood I get in the shower. I trace over my tattoos and scars before washing up and getting out.

Heading past Jakes room. I stop at the whimpers coming through the door. I open it and Izzie runs out and over to me. I pick her up. She snuggles closer. He must've not let her go with him. I walk down the stairs. I let her outside to go to the bathroom.

Making breakfast it dawned on me that I thought it was Zach's puppy, but here she is in our house. I let her back in before taking a seat and eat up my breakfast. Izzie sat there falling asleep. She didn't have a kennel, so I had no where to put her.

Sasha appeared when I was washing the dishes.

"Hey." She smiled at me.

"Oh! That time. I want to go I just have the puppy an-" she cuts me off.

"Puppies are easy, watch." The puppy is sleeping.

"What did you just do?"

"Nothing. Let's go."

She grabs my hand. Then I flashes of color and every around us.

We were teleporting.

A/n: hey the picture at the top is by the same person who created my last chapters picture. Hope you enjoy. Been in a bit of a writers block so it's kinda a filler. And I got a puppy who's been a lot to handle. Her name is Izzie and she's a border collie mix. I hear they're good dogs expect when she poops on the floor. She wears diapers and it's really cute.
