Chapter Two

A loud beeping sound came from the side table next to my bed. I slowly rolled over and saw that it was time to get up and get ready for school. Just great. I texted Harry good morning and he sent one back.

I brushed my teeth then jumped in the shower and cleansed my body and hair. I got out and threw a pair of faded jeans and an ACDC shirt of Harry's on. I dried my hair and straightened it. I always went for this kind of look; lazy but cute. It was just me. Not much of a girly-girl but still cute.

I put some mascara and eyeliner around my bright blue eyes, followed by some lip stick and spritzed some perfume. This stuff was so intoxicating, as Harry likes to say. Every time I wear it he won't ever stop hugging me. My stomach had this weird rumble go across it and I started to wonder. I looked on my calendar and saw that its been like three weeks since I've had my period. That's weird because I'm usually never late. Hmm, maybe it's just a stomach bug that's effecting me. I grabbed my phone and picked my bag up while slipping on some Toms. I ran down the stairs and passed my mom as she was coming in the house from working the night shift at Betty's Diner. "See you later mom!" I shouted as I made my way out of the house. I saw Harry's car at the end of the drive way and made my way over to it. I got in the passenger side and put my seat belt on. "Morning again, love." Harry kissed my cheek and I smiled. Harry always had this effect on me. Even after almost a year of dating. He still gives me butterflies. Then again, he always gave me butterflies, even before we dated..

"You're wearing that perfume I like." He smiled, putting the car into drive. I giggled and nodded. "Oh, are you okay with riding the bus home today, I have to leave early to do something?" He questioned. He seemed a little nervous and that wasn't like Harry. "Uh, yeah. What are you doing?" I questioned him and he gave me an uneasy smile. "I, um- I have a doctors appointment." He spoke with caution. I didn't really want to push it too much so I just agreed to riding the bus and we pulled up at the school. We both got out and made our way into the school. People waved and others just didn't bother. We were your normal everyday teenage couple. We went to our lockers, both being by each others and stood by them, just talking and what not. The bell rang and we both walked off to our class.

All day my minds been rumbling with the thought of what Harry's up to. He wouldn't cheat on me and he wouldn't lie to me, or I think he wouldn't. No, he wouldn't. I laid down on my bed after just walking through the door of my bedroom. I had homework but I just wasn't up for it. I smiled, reminiscing on the memories Harry and I had on this very bed a few weeks ago. The way he always made me feel so special just brought a smile to my face. But it was soon replaced by a frown. My stomach started cramping up and I ran to the toilet. I threw up. Just lovely. I proceeded to do it about three more times before calling my best friend to come over. She agreed and I waited for her.

My bedroom door opened and Cassie walked through. She had a lopsided smile on her face. "Feelin alright babe?" She patted my leg and sat down on the floor next to me. "Not really." I told her about me throwing up and all that over the phone and she said that she'd stop by the pharmacy before coming over. I figured she had bought me medicine.

"Did you get some pepto?" I asked, nodding to the bag in her hand. "Actually, I got something better!" She opened up the bag and pulled out a pregnancy test. "W-What?" I stuttered. "I think you need to see if you are." She pushed the box towards me and I looked down at it. There's no way I could be pregnant. We used protection- I think. She pulled me up and led me to the bathroom. I sat on the toilet and looked up at her, shaking my head. "There's no way I'm pregnant!" I put the stick on the counter. She rolled her eyes and grunted.
