Its 3am and i still haven't gone to sleep, and guess what i have school today as well, I really cant be bothered to go in today. "Ding" i look at my phone and i see a notification Lucas❤: are you coming in today? Shia: umm i dont think so im really gonna be too tired in the morning Lucas❤: can u come in plz Shia: why? Lucas❤ : we need to talk Shia: about ? Lucas: i cant text it to you its kinda important it wouldn't b right to say it over text Shia: ill call you Lucas❤: no , just come in today Shia:um ok. Night x Lucas❤: night x Omg what does he have to tell me ? Wait i get it , he's gonna break up with me , he cant say it by text , lucas isn't like that he would rather say it in person. But what did i do wrong? I walk in too school tired af , but i tried to make an effort with my out fit. I don't see Lucas yet but i see Marcus ." Marcus!" "Umm he told me he was coming in during lunch or something " "oh ok thanks " i say walking way , i wonder what hes doing . Lucas pov I get to the jewellery shop at 11 am , I'm skipping school so i can buy Shia the promise ring for when i ask her to prom . I go into the store and walk up to the lady at the desk , "hi may i help you ?" She says smiling , i take out my phone and show her the ring

"um do you have this in stock ?" "Oh your very lucky we only had 1 left , ill go get it for you " she walls away , im so happy they had it i dont even know what i would have done . I pay for it and drive to skl hopefully i will get there. Before lunch ends . *skip ride* I get to skl with 15 minutes to spare , i walk into the lunch hall and see every sitting at a table "Shia" i say , she turns around and smiles her beautiful smile, tbh Im just gonna wing it and see how it goes i don't really have a plan Shia pov "Shia!" I turn around and see Lucas, I smile , "I need to ask you something " he says seriously , he's gonna do it , he's gonna break up with me . He smiles , reaches into his pocket and takes out a small box "wait what's thi.." "shhh just open it " he places it in my hand and I slowly open it , my eyes widen as I realize what's written in it . I look up "umm is it a yes ? Or should I go ask someone else " says Lucas " omg shut up of course yes !" I say jumping up into his arms , he spins me around . Once he stops I get down and put the ring on , it fits perfectly. Suddenly I realize Lucas isn't next to me anymore , he's standing on a table ? " Lucas wtf are you doing ? Get down " I whisper trying not to draw anymore attention in this direction " wait " she says looking at me " attention everyone !" He yells , everyone turns this way , great ." I just wanted everyone to know that Shia Brown is my girlfriend and that I'm in love with her so if you like her , your gonna have to go through me , understand? , thanks have a nice day " he says and he jumps down from the table " Lucas are you crazy ?, did you fall and hit your head?" " yh I did when I fell for you " he replies while taking my hands .I start to laugh "ewww your so cheesy " "told you he wasn't breaking up with you" says Marcus , I totally forgot everyone was sitting at the table " yh ok I guess you were right ." " you thought I was gonna break up with you ?" Say Lucas " well you said u wanted to talk so I kinda jumped to conclusions" , suddenly Lucas takes my hand we walk out the cafeteria "where are we going ?" " lets skip the rest of the day " he says , Is he mad ?" Umm how are we gonna get out ?" , well once the bell goes we move with the crowd to the parking lot , get into my car and go " he says casually " sounds like you've done this before ?" " yh u can say that " he says smirking ." Wait doesn't a teacher stand at the gates ?" They get there at 5 past 2 so once the bell goes we only have 5 minutes to get away " The bell goes , we get to his car and he starts to drive out of the school . " see we have 2 minutes to spare " he says not taking his eyes off the road . " so where do you wanna go ?" I ask ,"where ever you want " " lets go to the mall then the park " he starts to speed up " I know a short cut " he says while turning left . I can't believe I'm skipping school with Lucas .
