"Angel No!" Why don't you just leave me alone?! I just want you to leave me alone. You're just making things worse. Besides you promised. You promised you wouldn't do anything!"
"Yea I did promise but that was before I found out kids are stealing our money and pissing on your clothes. Don't you get it Sasha? You just can't keep going around in this circle, taking shit off people , hoping they see the error of their ways and then surprised when their back fucking with you again. I don't care what you want. What you want is doesn't matter. There's no Mom to run home to now. From now on things get handled the way I want them handled and I chose to handle it by going in to that fucking classroom and pounding the shit out of that bastard till he either give us back our money or I take 100 dollars' worth of damage out of his ass,"
"But Angel it's not like it's just Lavon it's....:
"Yea his cousins too. I'm well aware of the family tree."
"But it's not like the bell ringed and they all went to separate classes. Their all in the same class. If you go in there it will be a three on one fight. You can't win."
"Win?" I said, scoffing at the word.
"When's the last time we ever won at anything Sasha? You sat there in the kitchen and read the same letter I did. If we can't come up with 2000 dollars in 30 days our asses are gonna be on the street. I stopped worrying about winning the second I woke up this morning to no parent and no heat. At this point I'm just trying to take as many assholes down with me. So I'm going into that class room, swinging first and asking questions later and whatever happens, happens. The last thing I expect out of this soon to be shit storm is a win."
My freckled face companion's entire body language changes after seeing the current state of affairs swing back to the conflict he had originally anticipated. He tries his best to hide that goofy smirk he wore when he first approached me on the 12th graders hall. I guess he's going to get all those hits on his page after all.
I burst through the double doors leading back into school with him and Sasha following me like my own personal paparazzi. The three of us must make quite a site as I make our way toward Sasha's class. Me, stomping down the hall like a WWE wrestler headed for the ring, Sasha, yanking the tail end of my shirt like a tug-of-war rope trying desperately to stop me, and mister third wheel walking with us, trying his best not to look totally out of place.
The closer I get to the class the harder Sasha yanks on my shirt until I can hear the ripping of its fabric around my neck. But I don't care if she rips the damn thing clean off. I'll walk in there half naked like Tarzan if I have to. Something has to be done and if Sasha isn't going to do anything I sure as hell am.
"Dammit get off of me!" I say in a yelling whisper as I swivel around to face her. Realizing that events are set in motion and pulling on the back of my shirt isn't going to stop them, she reluctantly lets the cloth slide from her hands.
"I hate you." She declares
"Not as much as you hate Lavon and them, I bet." I reply and open the classroom door to walk in, leaving her and Mr. Third wheel behind in the hallway. She, stares at me with pathetic eyes that try their best to corral me back into the hall way. He, stands beside her, with a face bursting at the seams with satisfaction, with his cell phone already on standby in his right hand.
