A Little Something Called Fate (A Jack Griffo Fan Fiction)

Chapter 4

After 2 hours googling what the double S was, we finally found it on Jack's Twitter.

"Summer Sing-off?" asks Mia. "

"I guess that's what it is. It says here it's tomorrow."

Mia and I are in. the hotel room. My mom and dad are still at the reunion. I still have Jack's jacket on. I never want to take it off. ''

"So are we going or what?"

"Sure why not?'' Then I see that Daniel is calling me on Skype.

I answer. "Hey babe how's Cali?" "

"Great, we walked around for awhile." I say. I was so not going to tell him i met Jack. "

"I miss you," says Daniel.

"Yeah I miss you too," I say. We talk for a half hour or so. He soon gets off to feed Fluffy.Which only makes me think of Jack. I can never be with him. He is famous and rich and I am just a regular girl from a small city in Michigan. Besides, I have Daniel. And I missed him a lot so that has to mean something. Right?

Today is the sing-off. It's awesome. There's fireworks and a big stage.

I see Jack at the punch bowl. Mia nudges me over to him. I can't do this. I have Daniel. I like Daniel a lot.

Plus, Jack is 17 and I am only 13. I tried to explain this to Mia, but she said age doesn't matter. I keep getting this vibe that she doesn't want me to be with Daniel. I guess she doesn't like him all that much. I'm super nervous but I go over there anyway.

"Hey Courtney, you made it," he says. He is so tall and I can see his abs through his shirt. How does he even know what my name is? Right, Twitter.

"Yeah, I thought I might as well come."

The announcer comes on and calls Jack's name. Of course all the girls go crazy. Who wouldn't? Jack goes up on stage and they give him a guitar. He starts singing ''As long as you love me'' by Justin Bieber. He can sing really good. Of course I already knew that. His music video for "Slingshot" was the best.

After he finishes, he came off the stage. Then he starts walking towards me. I thought he would stop talking to me. I can't risk falling in love with him.

"So, you want to sing?" he asks me. I love singing but no one really knows about it.

"Uh, no I'm good. I don't really sing," I lie.

"C'mon, everyone can sing if they try,'' he says. I give him a look.

"Ok maybe not everyone," he says laughing.

The next thing I know, he is putting me on stage. Oh no. I have stage fright. Like badly. I look at Mia with pleading eyes and she just shrugs. "Bam" by Miranda Cosgrove starts playing. I have no other option. I start singing and at first, I'm scared.

I keep singing and the crowd is going crazy. I see Ryan and she's giving me a mean look. The look of jealousy. Which only makes me be better.

After I finish, I get a round of applause. I get off stage and go to Jack.

"You were amazing," he says giving me a hug. Yes!THE Jack Griffo gave me a hug. But of course all good things have to end because Ryan appears.

"Jack we have to go," she says.

"What? We just got here.''

"Yeah but I want to go shopping,'' saysRyan. This girl is so irritating.

"Fine," he gives up.

He shakes my hand and smiles. Why the hell are we shaking hands? Maybe because of Ryan.

He leaves and I look down at my hand. I see of paper on my hand and I open it. It was his phone number! THE Jack Griffo gave me his number. Maybe this summer won't be as bad as I thought.
