Warped: How Unlikely (Bands FanFic)

I'm Sky Zander. I have long, wavy, brown hair with side bangs I dyed purple and red and big blue eyes. I was born and raised in Manhattan, New York and I've never attended public school. I know what you are probably thinking, You never went to public school? You are a total snob! Don't talk to me. Snob! Well, despite what you are thinking I'm not. I only went to private school because it was safer than NYC public schools. The only other people in my school who aren't spoiled brats are, my friends, Jordan Matiscov, Marilyn Leviance, Peter Bradishal and Weston Perrik. Jordan is tall, has swishy (I don't know how to describe it) bangs and blue/green eyes. Marilyn is short, has short, dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. Peter has longish blonde hair and black eyes. Weston has spiky green hair and green eyes. We all spend most of our time in Time Square playing music to earn some extra cash. We have a band called Sky's Army. No, I did not name the band. Peter and Marilyn started the band before they met Jordan, Weston and I. We decided to keep the name because they had already created a YouTube account under the band name and posted some covers. I'm the lead singer, Marilyn plays bass and sings backup, Peter plays guitar, Weston's the drummer and Jordan plays guitar or keys. Jordan and I write most of the music for the band. Let's get to what this story is actually going to be about. It's almost my 15th birthday and my mom got my friends and I tickets to Warped Tour! We are all flying out to Houston, Texas for the first tour date. This is our first year going to Warped! We are all REALLY excited!

*a few days before*

"Hi, Mom." I said walking in the door after school. "Hello darling." My mom said with a huge smile on her face. "I have a surprise for you!" She said, taking an envelope off the counter. 'What is it?" I said excitedly, reaching for the envelope. My mom handed me the envelope and I quickly opened it. It was 5 plane tickets. To Houston, Texas. "Why?" I asked my mom. I was really annoyed. Why would I be getting plane tickets to Texas? "You are going to Warped Tour!" My mom says with an even bigger smile on her face. "WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! WARPED TOUR!!! AHHH!!!!" I yell excitedly. I begin to jump around like a 5 year old going to Disney World! It's Warped wouldn't you!!

Yeah. That's basically how it happened. Our flight is tomorrow. We are gonna be staying with my Uncle Cole. He is super cool and is gonna take us to Warped cause we aren't allowed to go alone but we don't care cause he is only 28. We were gonna bring all our instruments but Uncle Cole told me he has instruments there! We are leaving for the airport now!
