looking at george right now is like looking at a picture.

a sad, painful, lifeless picture.

in a white, crestfallen room, there he was, peacefully laying down on the hospital bed. it's been four days ever since george was admitted. it doesn't feel like it though, it fucking feels like forever. he's alright, he's alive. that's what the machines around him told me anyway. the quiet beeping said that his heart's beating well. but since he hit his head very badly, he slipped into a coma. lord knows when he would wake up, that's if he ever wakes up.

unknowingly, tears streamed down my face.

"george would scold you for being such a negative thinker."

right, he would. george had always been an optimistic person. his jokes are really dark sometimes, but i love how he always sees the bright side of the bad things.

i got up the chair and wiped the tears away as i walked towards him. i caressed and held his hand, it was surprisingly warm compared to mine. his jet black hair was messily scattered above his eyes, which i carefully swept sidewards. it gave me a better look of his long eyelashes and the dark circles under his eyes. he looks very exhausted and very pale. yet, he's still aesthetically beautiful. his flaws made him so pretty.

"you're such an attractive human being, george," i chuckled, "despite all these machines around you, you still look like a rockstar."

just earlier, a guy named max visited george. he asked me who was i and what happened, so i told him everything. he got mad at me for a moment, he blamed me and all. eventually, he took everything back, apologized and gave me a friendly hug. "i just couldn't stand seeing george like this, seeing him in pain is so upsetting," i remember him say. max even bought me some food to eat and chatted with me for a while. he thanked me for looking after george when he couldn't. he also said something about some guy named ian, that he's flying over australia from the united states just to visit george. i'm glad he has really caring friends.

max wanted me to go home tonight. i didn't want to leave george alone, but i needed a nice bath because i haven't bathe in two days. disgusting, right. max told me that we can take turns in looking after george, which i agreed to since i had work to do.

i gave george a kiss on his forehead and said, "i'll be back. hang in there, baby."
