"thanks for the ride max," george said as he stepped out of max's car, "see you soon."

"no problem. i'll see you, mate," max waved and drove off.

"'i'll text you later,' she says. bullshit. not even a single text."

as george made his way up to his room, he suddenly remembered that he left his phone turned off.

"ah, shit," george whispered frustratedly while he tried turning it on again.

"i'm such an idiot, what the fuck. come on," he whispered a little louder while fumbling with his keys and waiting for his lockscreen to show up. he finally unlocked the door, and so did his phone.

george didn't even bother texting y/n back, but he decided to call them instead.

"pick up, please,"  george thought.

"hello, hiiii,"  y/n finally said.

george expected that y/n would pick up, but he ended up saying "hello" to their voicemail.  he rang their number so many times, but it always went straight to voicemail.

"okay, i fucked up. she thought i blocked her for some reason but i actually left my phone turned off."
