Surprise Birthday part-2

On Maiyra's birthday:

"Maiyra, I too want to join you and drew in zoo but I have an important meeting" I said

"I already know about it"

"You know?"

God these dialogues are scaring me once again.

"Yeah, few days ago you said me that you have a very important presentation with very important client for another very very important person"

"hahahaha yeah very important one" I kissed my wife so hard that she won't forget me till evening for sure.

"Maiyra I have something to give you"

"Okay"

I gave her the coffee mug which was nicely packed in 5 layers of gift wrapper.

After removing 3 layers of gift wrapping maiyra said

"Seriously Rehan, if there is nothing in it then I will definitely kick you and order your bodyguards to do the same. Ok?"

"ohh you are such a sweet person Maiyra." I tried to tell her as sweetly as possible.

Finally after she removed 5 layers of packing there were tears in her eyes

"Oh no I thought you will like it. It's ok next time I will choose a better gift for you Maiyra"

She slapped me lightly on my shoulder and hugged me.

"It's so nice of you Rehan, you were busy in office and you still remembered my birthday."

How can I forget it, wifey?

The moment they left for zoo I called my team which included my PA, tara, max to help me with decoration. As there was some emergency in hospital Vishal couldn't come.

After 6 continuous hours of work I was satisfied with how my mansion looked.

I brought a nice long princess gown for Maiyra and prince dress for drew, which I handed to tara and called Maiyra that there was some emergency and she along with drew need to be in Tara's house as early as possible. Then I called her parents and invited them to our mansion, I even arranged their dresses here with the help of their designer.

The birthday party was suppose to start by 6pm and only 15 minutes left but still Tara, Maiyra and Drew haven't reached mansion yet, which started stressing me.

Maiyra's pov:

"Mom and dad there is some emergency it seems and I have to leave for Tara's house immediately along with Drew. Sorry maybe we can plan to see remaining part of zoo on some other day"

"It's ok Maiyra, let's go to her house right now and don't worry about us" my dad said

"Mommy, what happened to Tara aunty?" Drew was asking that question many times.

"I don't know son, once we will go there we will know ok?" I tried to convince him but he was scared too.

My parents dropped me at Tara's house and left immediately. Drew and I ran towards their main door and knocked hurriedly. Tara opened the door looking so beautiful in a princess dress with a happy smile. Drew and I looked at each other and said

"Tara you look absolutely fine but why did Rehan called me and said there some emergency here?"

"Don't worry you ask that question to Rehan only. For now let's change drew's clothes"

"Why Tara aunty? My dress is clean only right?"

"Umm we are going to some special place where dress code is mandatory"

"Ok"

Tara helped me change drew's dress but still haven't said me where that special place is and why are we getting ready to go there

"Drew, can you wait in living area, I will help your mom to change dress and meanwhile you watch cartoon show" Tara said

"Ok aunty. But where are we going?"

"That's a big surprise drew"

Tara said and closed the door.

"Tara what are you doing? What special place are you speaking about? "

"that's a ... that's a... umm party where we are supposed to be in dress code"

"You already said me that"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah"

"Tara, are you hiding something?"

"Me.. no.. definitely not"

"Look at my face and tell me"

"Fine. We are actually going to a place where dress code is.."

"Taraaa"

Why do I feel that Tara is hiding something from me?

"Tara Please tell me. You know I am not even invited for the party we are getting ready too"

"Is it ? Anyway you don't need an invitation too"

"Huh?"

"Yeah, now change into this dress"

After I changed my dress Tara helped me with my makeup and hairstyle then we immediately left to that party. The way we are travelling is almost similar to our house

"Tara aunty are we going to our home?"

"Umm yeah.. Well.. actually we need to pick up...pick up your father too, Drew"

"Oh ok"

When we stepped inside, it was soo dark we hardly could see anything.

"Rehan, where are you?"

Suddenly I heard some blast sound probably balloon blasting sound, then lights were tunned on followed by

"Happy birthday to you..., happy birthday to you...

Happy birthday to you Maiyra, Happy birthday to you.."

I was shocked and was completely surprised, watching everyone part of our family wishing me except my husband. It's ok, he is a busy person and my thoughts were disturbed when some more lights were turned on and I heard HIS voice

"Thank you so much for accepting the invitation Ladies and gentleman and" Rehan continued his speech but I didn't hear anything, because I was busy watching him who was busy speaking.

After that I had cut the birthday cake which looked good and tasted delicious. Even in my dreams I have imagined to celebrate my birthday with my family but here it's happening. Wait what if it's just my dream? Then I felt Rehan holding my hands and said

"It's not your dream Maiyra, It's happening for real" I just smiled at him with tear filled eyes. May be this is the situation one calls 'speechless'

"Happy birthday Mommy" Drew said and everyone wished after that.

After the party ended I dragged Rehan to the lawn and said

"Rehan, I am still not able to believe it" he just smiled in return.

"Marrying you is the best thing that has happened

in my life, Rehan"

"Marrying you is the bestest thing that has happened in my life too Maiyra"

"Hahaha There is no such word called bestest"

"Really I am absolutely free, maybe you teach me now" he said coming near me slowly.

We hugged tightly and slept in the garden watching the stars and listening to Rehan's heartbeat.
