Chapter Two: Messages

After everybody had ordered their ice cream we sat down nearest to the window. I stared deeply into my (Insert ice cream flavor here) ice cream.
"What are you waiting for?" I heard Mark say. Of course he could see me admiring my ice cream. He was right across from me.
"I'm breaking the record for staring at ice cream the longest." I said sarcastically. Without waiting for a reply, I took a huge bite out of the ice cream. It was delicious! But before I could taste more it struck me.
"BRAIN FREEZE!" I yelled loudly jumping out of my seat. Everybody in the shop stared at me. I smiled awkwardly at them. Only to be dragged back down in my seat by BamBam, who was sitting next to me.
"We don't need an announcement." Jinyoung snapped. Wow, that hurt.
"Right. Sorry Prince Jinyoung." I said sarcastically not meeting his eyes.
"You're lucky we are in public." Jinyoung said narrowing his eyes at me.

"Thanks guys it was fun!" I smiled sweetly at them.
"No problem. We had fun as well." JB said with no emotion.
"Ahh! I don't want you to leave!" Jackson ran up to me and hugged me tightly.
"Jackson please let go." He didn't let go.
"Jackson-oppa please let go." I said in a sweet tone. He then let go and dropped to his knees.
"You know just what to say. You should call me oppa more often." He smiled.
"Right. Anyways, Bye Y/N!" Youngjae said and gave me a side hug.
"Bye Noona!" Yugyeom waved.
"Bye!" I called to them as they walked away. Today has been a long day....

"Mom! I'm home!" I yelled.
"Oh sweetie, Welcome home!" I heard my mom yell back.

"Where did you go today?" She asked me as I walked into the kitchen.
"Just out with a few friends. Why?"
"I don't know, You just never really have been hanging out with 'friends' lately. So why now?" She said putting the ramen into the pot.
"Are you trying to imply that I have no friends? Because I do. I have 8 friends." I said proudly for making so many.
"Mhm. And their names?"
"Youngjae, JB, Yugyeom, Mark, BamBam, Jackson, Jinyoung, and Sumi." I said using my fingers to count.
"More than half of them sound like guys. Are you hanging out with guys!?" She asked Turing around to me.
"Yes...? I think at least. You've met them!" I said getting off of the stool I was sitting on.
"I have? OH! Those girly friends of yours. One of them is proud of their skinny legs?"
"Ne! Those guys." I smiled, finally she got it.
"Yeah, we are stilling going to say no friends. Hurry up and eat and I want you in bed early for school tomorrow." She said sternly handing me a bowl of ramen.
"BUT mooooomm!" I pouted.
"No buts. Now hurry up and eat before I take your phone away."
I quickly sat down at the table and began eating. Gosh, didn't know it was that time of the year again.

As soon as I got into my bedroom I took out my phone seeing all the missed calls from Sumi. I wondered what was wrong. I hit the call button and put the phone to my ear. After the second ring she picked up.
"WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN PICKING UP MY CALLS!" My best friend yelled over the phone. Ow, that hurt.
"Relax. I was just out today with the guys." I said trying to calm her down.
"Whatever. I was wondering if you wanted me to pick you up tomorrow."
"Thats why you called?" I said, laying back in my bed.
"Yeah. So do you want me to pick you up or not?"
"Sure?"
"Great! Be there at 7:45 sharp!" And with that she hung up. I moaned,
"I don't wanna go to school-" I was interrupted by a sound coming from my phone. I looked over to see that Yugyeom had text me.
Yugyeom: Hey, You awake?
Me: Yeah, why? Need something?
Yugyeom: Just need someone to talk to.
Me: Im all ears, or eyes... I don't know how it works.
Yugyeom: ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Right. I'm scared for tomorrow. What if I fail my classes? :(
Me: You? nervous? Honestly, don't be. If I know you correctly you won't fail. Plus, all the girls fawn over you guys.
Yugyeom: Exactly. I hate that :( Why can't I be ugly like you.
Me: Yah! Rude.
Yugyeom: Im just kidding ♡ Thank you.
Me: Mhm. Whatever Good night.
Yugyeom: Love you.

Before I could see what Yugyeom said he had deleted the message. I just shrugged it off.
