"Four tickets please." I said. "Got any money?"
Sophia sighed, then pulled out her purse and took out 20 dollars. We walked in, and I looked around. After a while, I lost them. I got stuck at the most interesting section, the legend of the Black Witch. Sophia found me I only got to the youth part. Here's what it said:
Gwendolyn was the daughter of Lady Lorelei. She was smart, and had a bright future. One day she learned the art of magic in classic folktales. She started the beginning of dark arts, and started a rage against the world, especially the royal family of Heron. More likely, she caused Diana's death.
I found the Rosetta Stone, after an hour of searching. I stared at it, looking for an indent. I found an indent, perfect for my locket. The Stone was in a glass case. I realized what needed to be done. The precious artifact needed to be taken. By none other than five sixth graders.
No, we aren't stealing we are borrowing. Without permission. Fine we are taking it. Stealing if you want to use the ugly word. Whatever.
I still needed to figure out how to borrow the Rosetta Stone. I consulted my friends.
"You should open a window slide down on a rope, use a large stick or rock to break the glass, and take the Rosie Rock!" Sophia suggested.
"It's Rosetta Stone." Olivia corrected.
"Whatever."
"The museum is closing. Please leave."
"My plan or nothing..." Sophia said.
"Fine. Let's do it." Derek said.
We quickly left the museum, turned the corner, and climbed a stepladder to the glass skylight on the roof.
"Okay, who's going to grab the stone?" I asked.
"Well you're the shortest and lightest." Sophia said. The others nodded in union. Antonio grabbed some well-located rope on the side of the museum and tied it around my waist. We opened the window right above the Rosetta Stone and I slid down.
"Sophia, don't let go of the rope." Olivia said.
SOPHIA? I thought. Might as well feed me to a pack of wolves!
"Wait a minute." I said. "Couldn't we have just used my wand to take the Rosetta Stone?" I asked.
"Oh yeah. Oh well. Too late now." Sophia smiled. I wanted to strangle her.
Then I saw a light. From a security guard! She was pretty small but I wasn't going to take any chances.
"Guys, there's a security guard!" I hissed.
Surprised, Sophia dropped the rope ending up in me falling down on the filthy carpeted floor. I looked up seeing a smirk.
"Sophia!" Derek scolded.
"Oops." Sophia replied, putting on a sorry act.
I almost yelled at her, but I remembered there was security guard nearby so I ran and found a fake plastic sarcophagus and jumped in. A couple of seconds later, I opened the door and seeing nothing, jumped out. I ran towards the Rosetta Stone looked up, and saw that they left, probably searching for me.
"Hey! You!" I shot my head around seeing a large and muscular security guard and ran for my life hearing the guard panting and yelling. I lost him after tripping over a wire and ducking under a table.
I panted, and turned to see two blurry shadows. Derek and Olivia! I jumped up ran over, only to find a woman and a man dressed head-to-toe in black.
