Gretels POV

I wake up and feel the sun on my face. I feel hungry. I always do. I guess Jennifer just forgets to feed us sometimes. I stand up and fold

the blankets. I put them on a shelf. Jennifer has us sleep on the floor because she doesn't want us to take for granted what we've got. I

think she's smart. I walk down stairs and at the bottom of the stairs I see Hansel sitting there staring at the wall. It is a little weird but

that happens everyday.

"Helloooo?" I say as I wave my hand in front of her face. She slowly blinks and turns her head to me.

"Good morning." She says peacefully. After about a minute or two she snaps back to reality and prepares everything.

"Dad left so it's probably 9:00 AM. Which means we have one hour to prepare for Jennifer's breakfast with the person." Hansel says

freaking out, she puts a finger over her mouth and hands me a slice of bread with butter. I eat it while she is getting everything.

"Did you get the eggs?" I ask. She nods, I think she should make that bread and cheese and berry thing she makes with eggs. I tell her

to make it, but she nods no.

"Why not?" I ask

"I don't have cheese and I don't have time to make it." She says.

"Didn't you sell the pig." I ask

"Yeah."

"Well use that money and buy cheese. It's probably only two balklins."

"Okay you stay here I will be right back." Hansel demanded me to. I didn't listen I walk around the house and go to our little farm. I

feed the pigs like I am told everyday. I feed them fat, potatoes, and bread. That's what fattens them up. I have to do it three times a

day.
