Carter POV
I was confused. Why is Amber here? Where has she been? More importantly, why is Abby beside her? I looked over and saw that Logan and Lucas had confused looks too.
Carter- What are you doing here?!
Amber- I'm here to help!
I scoffed.
Carter- Yeah sure. 'Cause you've been doing that a lot lately.
She looked down.
Amber- I've made many mistakes-
Carter- Damn right you have!
Abby- Will you shut up and just listen?!
Abby rasped. I saw Lucas look at her with concern out of the corner of my eye.
Amber- Grace called me and told me you were in danger. So I came here and she told me her plan. She wants to destroy you all. She has a back-up plan for if you didn't go after the plane. She's going to New York and going to hurt innocent people to lure you all in. She's not under a spell. She's in a trance. Something must have happened and she just cracked. She needs your help. If you don't help her people are going to die!
Abby- I hate to say it but we need her. She's the only one who can bring Grace out of this trance. She has the powers to do it.
Lucas- I agree we need her.
Logan- Yeah
I saw Lucas glare at Logan. Logan looked down. Everyone looked at me with pleading eyes. I sighed.
Carter- Lets go get our girl back.

Abby POV
We have been walking, in the woods, for some time. Trying to get to a town or something. I was walking with my hand in Lucas'. I looked to my right and saw Logan walking with his hands in his pockets and his head down.
I took in his appearance. He had bags under his eyes, his air was messy and his uniform was all crumpled up. Great, now I feel bad!
Abby- I will be right back.
I said to Lucas. He looked unsure, but nodded anyways. I slowly walked over to Logan. I touched his shoulder slightly. He jumped and sighed a little.
Abby- Hey
I spoke quietly. I looked in his eyes and he had tears in them.
Logan- It's all my fault!
His voice cracked at the end. Before I could even respond, he was sobbing. I brought him into my chest, calming him down. When he finally calmed down he just sat there hugging me. He finally pulled away. When he did, a little bit of his shirt can up and I just saw the bold lines going across his wrist. I gasped. He quickly pulled his sleeve down.
Abby- You didn't!
He looked down. I held in the tears fighting to come out.
Abby- Why?
I spoke quietly.
Logan- I thought you hated me
Abby- I could never hate you! Besides we wouldn't last a month without each other.
He laughed and pulled me in for another hug. I took a moment to enjoy it because it might be awhile until we can do this again.
Abby- Promise me you will never do it again?
I said, still in the hug.
Logan- I promise.
We broke apart and I smiled.
Abby- Good, now lets go kick some ass!
