So you know, this chap is entirely in Vero's point of view. I will then rewrite this chapter, but from Brad's perspective. Enjoy!
I was awake. Not for any defining reason, I was just..... Awake. Odd as it was, I felt it stood for something. Something unbeknownst to me, nor any other person. I looked at Brad, snoring peacefully in our bed. This alone made me feel relaxed, but I still had a sense of forboding. Like something was going to go wrong. I got out of the room and made some coffee, to try and get me thinking straight. Luckily it did the trick, so I got back into bed and held on to Brad.
In the morning, I woke to a call from Sean, of all people. I picked up and began talking. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared for what was on the other side. "Hey Sean, what's up?" "Vero? So happy to talk to you. I've been calling for the past hour! Erm, you may not believe this, but Brad and I have been selected for the Overwatch World Cup 2017, so we have to go to America!" He exclaimed. "Fantastic!" I replied, "but can I come? Also, how did you know about Brad? He's asleep!" "A) They include your team members in the e-mail and B) The flight's already arranged. We set off in 1 week, so make time in Australia count!" he laughed. "Alright, thanks!" And with that I hung up. "Brad? Brad. *sigh cause why not*, BRAD!"
"Holy shi- wha? Vero? Wh-What is it?" he asked. "We're flying to America with Sean in one week." I replied. "Why? I'm tired..." *sigh again screw you and your "stop sighing"*. Do I have to spell EVERYTHING out for him? "Because you and Sean were selected for the Overwatch World Cup, dummy!" He almost fell out of the bed. "HOLY- What? That's amazing! Now I shall steal ALL POTGs! AH hahaha, haha, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" he roared. He was getting pretty hyper, so I pulled him into a kiss. "Hush now, Bradie~chan.... No need to shriek." I whispered, while putting on my best Hentai voice, just to annoy and fluster him. "Damnit Vero, why'd ya always do that?"
"Because I love you."
Sorry it was a short one, it's pretty hard coming up with original ideas. I listened to the DOOM theme while typing to motivate me. So, I hope you enjoyed the first chapter! I put the DOOM theme as the media as it just seemed to fit with Brad's hectic POTG stealing personality.
