A friend and I wrote this story in the fifth grade. It's so cringe I would suggest not reading it. If you do read it i am sorry for the words you will have to read. We were supposed to write a story based on J.R.R. Tolkien. So we basically copied The Hobbit in a really bad way. We didn't know any better at the time.
In a house in the Beginning Earth there lived a girl. Her house was a overgrown mushroom with big red spots. The mushroom was really big because the Great Zoloufue (a great wizard) cast a enlargement spell on the mushrooms so all of the tall Zoeins could have shelter to live in. Brooklyn Marie Talbot had long dark brown wavy hair that looked like her mother's when she was alive. Brooklyn's mom had died because on Brooklyn's fifth birthday she stood too close to the fireworks, that was all her father told her.
One day Brooklyn went to get the mail and she saw a letter addressed to her from The Great Zoloufue. Brooklyn had NEVER gotten mail in her life, especially from someone that important ! She opened the envelope and read the letter,

I will appear out of nowhere in 2.5 days and people will come to your house for dinner and to come on your adventure with you. You will need to make A LOT of dinner! See you in 2.5 days or when you get this letter we will be their in 1.835 days.

Brooklyn rushed inside and started making food. She had no idea how many people were coming but The Great Zoloufue had made it seem like a lot and he is always correct and exact and also never jokes.*****
After a day of cooking Brooklyn was extremely tired. She flopped onto her big bed and sighed.
