The adventurers traveled down the gravel road, leaving the Dray Kingdom far behind them. On their way they ran into five Death Unicorns and they had all their gear packed in there bags so they thought that they were all going to die!
Then Daldri ran up to the Death Unicorns and kicked one in the leg. The Death Unicorn knocked him over and screamed "DEATH" but what Brooklyn did not know was that when a Death Unicorn screams DEATH at someone directly , you die right there on the cold hard ground.
"He's dead," said Balkar.
"No, no," Brooklyn muttered and knelt next to him.
"Get up and fight!" someone yelled and burst out of the forest behind them. It was Prince Katar.
"Why are you here?" Rarek asked rudely.
"Do you think I would let you go on some epic adventure without me?" Prince Katar shot back.
Prince Katar took his bow and arrow and shot the Death Unicorn that killed Daldri. It neighed and ran off. He shot another one and Brooklyn tried to take her sword out of her backpack to defend her friends (even though she doesn't know most of them) but it was stuck in her backpack so she did not know what to do. Frodin picked up some baby rocks that could not even hurt anyone and threw them at the Death Unicorn. The Death Unicorn didn't even flinch.
"Ugh!" Brooklyn yelled and yanked her sword out, which teared her backpack in half and all her things fell on the ground but she did not care.
She got up and ran towards the Death Unicorns. She jumped up and slashed a Death Unicorn on the back. It wailed and ran away. Rarek picked up a big rock and threw it at the other Death Unicorn while Brooklyn and Prince Katar finished off the other two.
"Thanks but we could've handled it ourselves," Rarek told Katar.
"Yeah right," he muttered and hopped back on his horse.
"Rarek stop being rude and appreciate Prince Katar's help!" Brooklyn demanded.
"But I don't want to appreciate help from him!" Rarek said. "He's making me feel stupid, like I can't do anything!"
"I'm not trying to make you feel stupid, besides I know a shortcut to the Death Unicorn land," Prince Katar told Rarek.
"A shortcut? Really?" Rarek asked.
Prince Katar nodded.
"Fine but this better not be a trap!" Rarek said stubbornly.
