Brooklyn woke up the next day and realised that she had slept for half of the day. She only had a day until everyone would come!
*****
Brooklyn had just finished up the rest of the cooking when she heard a knock on the hard wooden door. Tap- tappity- tap tap tap tap. They were here already? It had seemed like no time had passed from when she woke up to now. Brooklyn walked over to the door and answered it. The Great Zoloufue was standing there. The Great Zoloufue looked less important and just looked like a regular Zoloufue (most Zoloufues just look like big fluffy blobs with big eyebrows and pink eye's).
"So you're Brooklyn Talbot?" The Great Zoloufue asked.
"Yes," Brooklyn replied.
Suddenly 13 Glorins (Glorins are like dwarves but a little smarter and taller) appeared behind The Great Zoloufue.
"Glorins?" Brooklyn asked. The Great Zoloufue nodded.
"So are you just going to stand there or let us come in?" he asked. Brooklyn moved out of the way so they could pass but as they were walking in her house they were all giving Brooklyn ungrateful stares. The Great Zoloufue surveyed the kitchen.
"Where's the food?" he asked.
"It's still in the icebox," Brooklyn told him.
"Well then get it out!" The Great Zoloufue demanded.
Are these the weirdos that I have to travel with because I could not last a day with even one of them, Brooklyn thought.
She got the grilled cheese sandwiches out and plopped them on the table because she has to serve little brats that treat her unkindly.
"Are these good enough for you?" she asked like she was acting like a servant serving food to her master with a sarcastic smile (like she was fed up).
"There's no meat!?" one of the Glorins said angrily and banged his fist onto the table.
"No there's not any meat. I made grilled CHEESE sandwiches," she said, obviously very irritated.
The Glorin shrugged and took a bite of the sandwich.
"Not bad," he said and laughed. "But it's not meat."
After all the Glorins had gotten settled and had been persuaded to eat their sandwiches Brooklyn could finally eat her dinner.
"So why'd you come here, to annoy me?" Brooklyn asked.
"No, we came to tell you about your adventure." another Glorin said and threw his sandwich crust at the first Glorin.
"Stop!" Brooklyn yelled. "Can you just TELL me what I need to do?"
"Here is the map. Your mother is located here," The Great Zoloufue said and pointed to a place on the map the looked terrifying and evil.
"OK, so you're supposed to help me get there?" Brooklyn questioned. The Great Zoloufue nodded.
"When are we leaving?" Brooklyn said.
"Tomorrow morning at dawn," The Great Zoloufue answered.
"But I normally wake up at noon as in 5:00 P.M."
