Every single human-being has a face
And with that face, a mask is produced
That mask comes from not heaven nor hell to hide who we are, but from ourselves
We manufacture these shields to protect us from everything that could possibly be thrown at us
Embarrassment
Insults
Shame
Hate
The masks that we put on hide our real selves because we are so afraid to let others see what we truly are
They do not last forever though
One day, a person may come along out of nowhere and do one of two things
They may either rip off the mask and laugh at the real you
Or they will take the time and effort to coax you to remove it yourself and willingly bare your soul to them
Those are the people who have had their mask off for the longest time
Sadly, out of the billions of people, some may never find a person who will so kindly relieve them of their defenses
They may walk on forever living a lie
They will get lost in the fake versions of themselves and lose their unique soul
Everyone has a mask
And they can do two things with it
Let it consume their faces and forever live falsely
Or remove it, and enjoy who they will always be
