Lilac was sitting on the couch, waiting for her brother in law to arrive. She was lost in her sadness and didn't hear any of it; Yasmin hugging Hellbent when he came back. Mira and Akira bickering. The family heading to their rooms to sleep after realizing that Lilac was practically deaf to their words.
"Oh dear knight,
I've fallen down
It's dark, and there's no one
Around to guide
Me through the dark
Why do I worry,
My little head?
You'll be here
To guide me along
Right here, by my side
Through the maze
And teach me the way.
I'll take your hand,
Won't be afraid
Through the maze
You'll teach me the way..."Lilac sang softly. She sprawled on the couch then, and fell asleep.

It had been a few days since Lilac and her family had arrived in Johto. She was still depressed, sitting outside her new house and staring at the sky almost the whole day through. One day, she had seen a Persian with markings not unlike that of a Liepards, though many more all over the cat's body. She hadn't taken much notice of it, however, and just continued watching the sky.
Mira and Akira often bothered her to play with them, although it tended to end in an argument.
A week had passed like this, when, finally, Lilac got up and explored.
They had settled in Blackthorn City, interested by the Dragon's Den and the Ice Path. The purple Kirlia left her niece and nephew as they bickered and entered the frozen cave.
"Hello..?" she called out. When she got no response, she sighed, and began to hum.
"Who's humming? It sounds nice!" a voice said from deeper in the cavern.
Lilac turned abruptly and gasped.
A Delibird popped up, his head tilted. "OH! Did I scare you?! I'm so sorry! By the way, I'm Flurry!" he said quickly. "What's your name? You look pretty! I'm Flurry! Oh wait I said that already!"
Lilac laughed awkwardly. "Uh... I'm Lilac. T-Thanks..?"
"Wow! Nice name!" the Delibird said, bouncing up and down. Then Lilac noticed one of his eyes was white.
"What happened to your eye..?"
"I'm half blind, but it's fine! I've learned to deal with it!" Flurry cheered.
"Lilac!" Akira shouted from outside, sounding worried. The purple Kirlia turned, grateful for a chance to escape the eccentric Pokemon. "I feel weird!" he cried out. "I'm scared!"
"I'll be right there!" Lilac yelled back and looked back at Flurry, waving. The Delibird turned and sped into the cavern. She rushed out of the cave and picked up her nephew. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"I... I feel all tingly!"
"Tingly?! Evolution..!" she realized. Without another word she headed back home, and flew through the door. "Hellbent! Yas!"
"Yes, Lilac?"
"Akira! I think he's... he's going to evolve!"
"Evolve?" Hellbent asked, grinning the best he could. Lilac nodded quickly and set the purple haired Ralts on the ground.
"Daddy! Mommy! It feels weird!"
"Crybaby!" Mira shouted from another room. Lilac sighed.
Hellbent picked up his son and Yasmin walked into the next room.
"Oh no! Oh no, oh no, oh no!" Mira screeched and ran away, though Yasmin lifted her up with Psychic, placing her in her purple arms.
"Mira, that wasn't nice," she said. Mira humphed. "Say you're sorry."
