~Finn's P.O.V.~
We lost. I can't believe it is actually over. This was our chance to prove we aren't losers like everyone thinks and we blew it. Now we don't have glee club.
"Hey Finn, did you get Mr. Shue's message, he wants us to meet in the choir room." Rachel tells me. We walk together and everyone else was already there.
"Hey guys, I know you all are disappointed that you didn't win, but I'm glad you all came to this meeting. Glee club may be over, but we are still a family, and as a family, we have to stick together and one of our own needs us. Quinn decided to give her baby up and she is in the hospital. Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves, we need to help her." Mr. Shue tells us. We all agree and instead of going home we go to the hospital to see her. Mr. Shue tells us to go, but he has to finish cleaning out the choir room. We get there and see Quinn and Puck.
"Hey guys, how are you?" Mercedes says.
"Fine, this isn't about us, we had to do the right thing for Beth. Someone already wants her. It's Shelby." Quinn tell us.
"Shelby, as in my mom?" Rachel asks.
"Yeah, she came here last night and said she wanted to adopt her because she never got to see you grow up." Quinn answered. I could see Rachel was confused and sad, but instead of saying that she smiled.
"Shelby will be a great mom." Rachel says. We all stay there for awhile and finally we have to leave.
"How are you?" I ask Rachel when she gets into my truck.
"Im fine, other than the fact that my mom, who abandoned me when I was a baby, just adopted Quinn's, I'm great." She answers. After she says that she apologizes with her eyes and I give her a kiss on her forehead and drive her home.
~Rachel's P.O.V.~
I get home and Shelby is sitting on my couch.
"What are you doing here?" I ask her.
"I thought Quinn would have told you about Beth and I wanted to see how you were doing." She says. I don't answer, but I give her a look.
"I know you think I left you because I didn't want you, but I didn't, I just wanted you to have the best life possible and I knew that couldn't happen if I kept you. I'm adopting Beth because I want another chance to be a mother." Shelby tells me. I know she is telling the truth, and instead of being angry I just decide to forgive her.
"It's okay, I understand. I just always wanted a mom to be there when I was sad or when I needed someone to talk to, but you weren't, and I get it now. I just hope you can be around more often now." I confess to her.
"Of course, I will always be your mother, and I want to have a better relationship with you too." She says. I give her a hug and we talk for awhile before she leaves.
*Skip to next day in glee club*
We all get into the choir room and see Sue there.
"What now Sue, you can't ruin our lives anymore." Kurt says.
"Shut up porcelain, I have something to say." She answers. We all look around and finally she talks again.
"I talked to Figgins and told him to give you guys another year in your loser club." Sue tells us.
"Wait what? Please don't say you are lying." Mr. Shue says.
"If you aren't here, who would I torture." She says and walks out.
"We have another year!" Mr. Shue shouts. We all laugh and jump around.
"We have another year, but this school year is over. Have a great summer guys, no worrying." Mr. Shue tells us. We all give our goodbyes and leave.
"So, what are you plans for the summer?" Finn asks me.
"Just to be with you." I say. He gives me a kiss and we walk out.
•THREE MONTHS LATER•
~Rachel's P.O.V.~
First day back to school and I already want it to be over. I have to watch Finn walk down the hall holding hands with Quinn. This year is going to suck.
