This one has more details than the last one, so it would be good if you want a story idea with less freedom and more structure, and I think that this one could be a really cool book or short story.... hint hint

When everyone is born they are tattooed with the date they are supposed to die.

The main character works as a slave for a wealthy family and is all but invisible.

He is supposed to die the day before his 9th birthday. His 9th birthday comes and goes, but he doesn't die.

A month after his 16th birthday, one of his masters, a boy his age, comes to him and tells him that he was an experiment. The wealthy family that he works for has thought that the government was killing off the people when their date comes around, and so they erased the main character's existence from all the government files and wanted to see if he would still die.

He was a slave in for a family that had many servants and slaves, so he would be easy to erase, whereas a noble would be hard to erase.

The fact that he didn't die means that the tattoo itself isn't killing people and that the date isn't the day they are destined to die, that an outside force is killing them.

The family starts training him to be an assassin and spy and kill the people who kill the civilians on the dates their tattoos say.
