Chapter 4

Quick author note: hi guys before you start reading this I just wanted to say thx for 100+ reads you guys are the best. Oh and by the way this chapter will be in eren's Pov just for this chapter and sorry if it's short.

Eren's POV

The next Morning...

I wake up and get ready as today I will make it back to the wall. I saddle up on chestnut and we ride full speed to the wall. "I'm coming home everyone" I say as we ride.

3 hours later......

I was getting close to the wall because I could see it ahead of me about 300 yards away. I was happy to almost arrive at the walls and back to base. I would be able to see my friends, teammates, and Armin and Mikasa. I sighed. They must think I'm dead and are accepting it by now, even Mikasa too...... when I get back I want to hold her tight, tell her everything will be okay, and say that I love you but not in a family way but something more. I got lost in thought until I heard big running foot steps. I start to accelerate with chestnut faster and faster and I was getting close to the lift that me and chest but could use to get on the wall until She kicked me........Annie kicked me in Titan form knocking chestnut away and me high in the air. I close my eyes as time gets slower "I've failed everyone like my new friend chestnut and you Mikasa I'm so sorry I wish I had more time to tell you I love you" I say as tears fill up in my eyes. Then the angels of Levi squad appeared and Petra stepped fourth and says "Eren don't give up you can't die yet your 3dmg still is working use that" "No I can't give up on mikasa or anyone" I say as I use the 3dmg and launch my self up the wall and on to the top. Then after I reached the top I sat over the wall for a break and cried a bit as my new friend and good horse chestnut was gone. He was a great horse and I will never forget him. Then from below the wall I hear a loud neigh and I turn around and see a brown figure down in the lift. My eyes went wide "CHESTNUT!" I say as I crank the lift up for chestnut to come up to the top of the wall too. After I lifted him to the top I hugged chestnut and he rubbed his head on me. I was glad that he was okay abut he had a big bruise on his side from that UHHHHG Annie. As we are done hugging I get more confident and start heading back to base. "Come on Chestnut let's go home" I say as we start to ride on the top of the wall. The sun was already almost down so we would travel over night by the time we reach the base it should be around noon. So I plan that out for our travel back to base. I can't wait to be back.
