"Oh my gosh, Steven, look!" Connie squealed, turning to face every angle of the warp stream.

"We're... going back to Beach City?!" Steven asked to no one in particular, looking at the red glow in awe.

"Hey, we're here too, kiddos," Sans said, being dragged to the top of the stream by his brother.

"WHERE ARE WE, HUMANS AND ASRIEL?" Papyrus asked, going starry-eyed at the '.

"We're in the warp stream, headed to Beach City again. When we first arrived, the pad took us here for some random reason that we never really figured out," Steven replied, holding his chin.

"Oh, wow, that sounds fun!" Asriel noted. "I've never been to a beach or seen the ocean..."

"It's amazing, you're going to love it!" Connie assured him. "You, too, Sans and Papyrus!"

"WOWIE, I CAN'T WAIT!" Papyrus shouted, putting his hands together.

"Wasn't exactly the first thing on my to-do list, but... I guess I'll go with it," Sans replied, secretly excited as well. In one burst of energy, the stream and surrounding space dissolved into nothing as the five arrived back in the temple.

"Wow, this is a nice house!" Asriel exclaimed, looking around.

"This is just my room," Steven explained.

"I'm going to call my mom and dad," Connie decided, pulling out her phone quickly. As soon as she typed the number in, the phone barely rang before Connie's father picked up.

"Hello, Connie," he said, surprisingly calm. "How's your sleep over?"

"Uuuuuhhhhh," she started, confused yet relieved. "G-good... just called to check in!"

"Oh, your mother wants to talk to you," he finished, the voice changing to a female one. "Connie, are you ok? Has Steven been mean? Are you hurt? Oh, why did Pearl have to secure this sleepover?!"

"I'm fine, Mom," Connie said, pulling the phone from her ear. "I'll see you later."

"Bye, honey," Mrs. Maheswaran said with a sigh. "Stay healthy and don't get hurt!" With that, she hung up.

"Oh, wow..." Steven said, partially confused.

"I'm so glad Pearl made it seem like this was all a long sleepover," Connie said in relief.

"Ohhh!" Steven exclaimed, now getting it.

"But... you weren't on a sleepover," Asriel argued. "You were with us!"

"But if my parents knew I spent the weekend hundreds of miles away underground with a ton of monsters, they would freak out! I'd never be able to leave my house again! No- I'd never be able to leave my room again!" Connie said in a small panic. At that moment, the door behind the group glew a bright, white light, as a gray figure stepped elegantly through the doorway.

"STEVEN!!!!!" Pearl exclaimed, holding him in a tight hug, "I'm so glad to see you!!!"

"Pearl, I missed you..." he started, not sure what to say.

"Hi, Pearl!" Connie greeted, waving.

"Connie, you owe me one," Pearl said firmly, letting go of Steven.

"Yeah, ok, but... we umm, brought some friends...?" Connie started, unsure of how to introduce the new monsters. Not seeing them when she'd walked in, Pearl observed the newcomers, baffled.

"Uh, hi," Sans said, lazily holding up a hand.

"HELLO THERE!" Papyrus exclaimed, waving much more enthusiastically. "ARE YOU ALSO A HUMAN?!"
