Chapter 22

Fluttershy and Discord pulled backed from a blissful kiss and stared into each other's eyes like Romeo finding his Juliet in the mist of night. The crowd cheered for them and took pictures of them while posting it on social media, tweeting to the band and sharing the photos with others. And already tons of fans started to like and comment cause after all, news travels as fast as a wildfire when it comes to celebrities. Though the paparazzi was doing what it does, Fluttershy and Discord held one another close, not wanting to let each other go. Fluttershy snuggled into Discord's chest while he hugged her close and petted her soft pink hair. The two felt their heartbeats in sync with the other and beating at the same time. Fluttershy looked up at Discord and gave him a warming smile, as he returned it and held her by the waist. As they kept smiling at each other, their lips started to move close to each other until they were only about an inch away from each other. Until...

"Hey! I'm sorry for breaking this, 'We got back together' moment and probably disappointing millions of Fangirl she now, but we still have a concert to catch!" Manic said as he gave Discord a slight tap on the shoulder.

"He's right! Eris is onstage stalling the audience at this second!" Fluttershy said as she looked at Discord.

"Then we need to get there now!" Sombra said as he cracked his back from stretching.

"Then let's start running!" Shadow exclaimed as he started to run in the direction of the school.

Manic and Sombra then followed behind him while Discord picked up Fluttershy bridal styled and started to run back to the school. As always, Discord was faster then the rest of his friends and ran up to the front of the group. Since you've been chased by millions of screaming fans, you get used to running at high speeds. Fluttershy held onto Discord as hard as she can, afraid she might fall and be left to the howling wolves known as paparazzi. Discord smirked at her while he held her tight and kept running, the wind flowing though their hair while the sound of fans followed behind them. As they turned the corner, they saw the stage lights shining up at the sky and a shadow that was moving over top. Discord looked up to see the lights and motioned his friends to run friends and head to the back of the stage without the fans following them.

The rest nodded and started to kick it up to full speed, Shadow and Manic ran as fast as they could with full arm swing and breathing hard. Except what happened next was something oddly strange and mind blowing that you would see in movies! As Sombra turned to the other guy's to see how were they holding up, he saw two rays of light following behind them as they ran. Shadow was followed by a bright red light while Manic was followed by a bright green one. Sombra's eyes felt like they were going to pop right out of his head as he looked at them and then called Discord to gaze upon it as well. Discord and Fluttershy looked over to see and their mouths immediately gaped open. Shocked spread across their bodies as he and Sombra almost tripped as they observed Manic and Shadow. Before any of them could ask what the heck was going on, Manic and Shadow kicked up to high gear and sprinted to the stage with the bright colored rays following them and leaving a trail of red and green fire.

"WHAT THE HECK?!?!" Sombra exclaimed as he started to slow down once they got close to the stage. "S...Since when could they run that fast...that they turned into Sonic the Hedgehog?!?!"

Sombra and Discord slowed down and came to a smooth stop once they made it to the back of the stage and breathed heavily. Discord set Fluttershy down as her hair pooled up once the wind stopped blowing through her hair, it made him chuckle and turn away while Fluttershy placed her hands on her waist.

"What's so funny?!"

"Your hair went poofy just like Pinkie Pie!"

"Well look at your hair Mr. Afro guy!"
