Remember when you said you'd do it?
Swore you would start that night.
Remember when you slept instead?
Slowly falling away.
Remember when the wave hit?
Pulling the air from your lungs.
Remember when it didn't subside?
The stress was feeding it.
Remember when you couldn't stand your own skin?
You were too desperate.
Remember when you said you'd do it?
