It's the morning of Nayla and I going to school. We settled into the house a couple of days ago. It's a really big place with 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It took a while for my sister and I to adjust. The first night she was crying wanting to go back home. We had talked to our parents through a hologram. You just press the button and the person is hologrammed up on the screen. We talked to them for a while and went to bed for the next day.
Currently, we are in the kitchen. Nayla and I are sitting by the counter waiting for the the maid to finish. She is a nice hispanic lady name Celia. While we were eating breakfast, Lola entered the kitchen.
"Zaera and Nayla we want to talk to you guys before we leave for school. Shiloh and I will be waiting for you guys in the living room". She left out.
"What do you think they want to say to us?".
"I really don't know Nayla". We went in the living room and sat on the couch across from Lola and Shiloh. I noticed Shiloh had a little box in his hand.
"So girls we wanted to talk about the school situation. Of course, you know Zae that you will be a senior at Lakeview high school and Nayla is going to be in fifth grade. So Lola and I are going to impersonate teachers at Nayla since she need the protection. I want to give you this Zaera".
He handed the box to me. I took it and opened it. It was a ring with a silver band and a ruby color circular shape diamond.

"That ring right there is to protect you against anything. You can open a portal to anywhere just in case if you're in danger. Also it will glow if you're next to any evil entities. It's good that you know how to sword fight so that will make it a bit easier", Lola said.
"Why can't one of you stay at the school with me?".
"We tried to get some type of job there but it's all booked. That's why we are giving you this ring. It's not hard to open a portal. All you have to do is concentrate on the place you want to go and it will open. So now that's all clear, I will drive you to your school Zaera while Lola go with Nayla. So go ahead to your rooms and get your things ready. It's almost time to go.".
I went to my room. I close the door to look at myself in the full mirror. I was wearing some light denim rip jeans with a long sleeve maroon shirt and some all black nike shoes. I had my hair straight down and my half sun half moon necklace around my neck. I put the ring on and picked my book bag from the floor.
I went downstairs and saw my sister had her things. We went outside, and before we separated to different cars, I hugged my sister.
"Have a good day at school Nayla and don't worry everything is going to be okay".
"Bye Zaera and thanks I will".
I went inside Shiloh's car and we drove off. It took us about 15 minutes to get there. The school was huge and had lots of people. I can see all the different type of students lounging around in front of the school. I sighed.
