I finish the rest of my classes and was extremely happy that we didn't have any homework on the first day of school.
"Mom I'm home!......Mom?" I walk into the kitchen and found a note.
Riley I'll be home late, had to take up another shift at the hospital. There is leftovers in the fridge or you can make a frozen pizza. Don't stay up too late or have anyone come over.

Typical, my mom is never home anymore.
I walk upstairs into my room and change into my sweatpants and my tank top. I grab my laptop and immediately go onto tumblr..."Why can't I be as pretty as these tumblr girls"..... I sigh and put my laptop away. I look at the time
6:00pm
I go downstairs and decide to make a pizza. I put the pizza in the oven and go into the living room and watch Iron Man.
*BEEP BEEP*
I get up and and grab 2 pieces of pizza and then sit down and finish watching the movie. Just as the movie was about to end I got a text.
To: Riley
Heyyy(: What are you doing??

To: Casey(:
Nothing. Eating pizza and watching T.V. You?
To: Riley
Nothing, I heard that Emmet was staring at you today... That's a little unexpected.
-Casey
I didn't feel like replying. Honestly I didn't feel like talking to Casey, as much as I loved her. Sometimes she had a big mouth.
I checked the time.....8:45pm
Still heard nothing from mom. I turn off the T.V. wash my dishes and put the remaining slices of piza in the fridge.I would probably come back later and eat some of them cold..I like them better that way.
I go upstairs, brush my teeth, wash my face and got into bed and just read. I read until 11:00 and then my tiredness got the best of me.

As I walked into school it felt as if everyones eyes were on me...
It was a little weird to be the center of everyones attention.
I walked to my first period History class and ofcourse who of all people would be standing there.. that's right Emmet.
"Hey darlin I thought you weren't going to show up today." Emmet said smiling.
"Why wouldn't I be here? Why are you talking to me anyway?" "Am I not aloud to talk to you? Geez I was just trying to be friendly but if you're going to be like that then, whatever." Emmet scoffed and turned into the class room and sat down next to his friends.
"Now class I'm going to have you start a grou project and I am trusting that you guys can pick a group and actually work."
Great another project for me to work on alone, oh well I guess it's okay I mean I do work better on my own and this way I will be able to turn it on time and not have to worry about anyone else working with me.
"Hey Riley..Will you work with me?" Emmet said shyly with his adorable half smile and gorgeous emerald green eyes...NO! snap out of it. " Umm don't you usually work with your friends over there?' I sighed and pointed to the hooligans across the room.
" Yeah I guess but nobody has asked you to work with them so I thought maybe you could..you could work with me."
Okay I may be a loner and not have many friends but I was not about to pass up the oppurtunity to work with the adorable Emmet Anderson.
" Yeah.. I guess." " Great! Can I have your phone number so we can text eachother about the project?"
" Sure" I handed him my phone and he handed me his and we swapped numbers. " Okay thanks I'll call you tonight about what we could do." He winked at me then sat back down again.
* RING RING RING *
I got up and headed for my second period.. art.
I loved Art, even though I didn't think I was very good at it.
I walked into the art room and sat down next to Casey.
" Hey Riley do you wanna come over tonight and watch a movie or eat food or something?"
" I'd love to Casey but my mom is working until late again and I can't have anyone over or she will flip out"
" Okay, maybe this weekend?"
" Yeah "
I get up from my seat and grab a blank canvas and immediately start painting a young deer laying in the middle of the forest. I grab different brushes and types of green and brown paint. I start by painting the deer laying down and then sart making the grass look kind of worn down like the deer has been laying there all day. Then I begin painting the trees towering over the little deer. When I'm finished I am extremely happy with the outcome.
" Riley that is A-M-A-ZING! " Ms. Marion said sounding sort of overly excited
" Uhh thank you."

I walk into my house and am greeted by silence...awesome.
I walk into the kitchen and grab a soda and pretzels then walk upstairs.
* DING DONG "
" Ugh why? I was half way up the stairs. "
I drop my food then walk to the door.
" Hey Riley "
"Umm Hi Emmet, How did you know where I live? "
" Oh umm I know it's kind of awkward that I just showed up at your house but I needed to talk to you about the project. I was going to call but then my phone died so I asked Casey where you lived so I came here. " I could see that he was beginning to blush so before it got to awkward Iinvited him inside.
" So have you thought about what you wanted to do for the project? " I asked. I was kind of nervous honestly.
" Hmm we could do something about WWII " "Yeah that sounds great, I'll go grab my poster board from upstairs and we can get started." I run upstairs and quickly look into the mirror just to make sure I look some what decent.. wait.. I shouldn't even care what he thinks of me. I groan..
I think I'm crushing on the bad boy...
