C13 Fairwell King Igneel

As we reached Slayroy we parted ways with Sting and Yukino as they had got hotel reservations the rest of us walked to the gates pf Slayroy as we we're greeted by maids and butlers who all bowed in unison to say, "Welcome back Master Natsu" as we continue to the front gates seeing as how we're all royality we're kinda use to this kind of thing, we are soon greeted by a short woman with long flowing beautiful blonde hair that mine couldn't compare to and a tall pale man with dark hair which I could only assume was Natsu's older brother-, "Zeref" Natsu spoke as we all look at him and I pull my hood further over my face remembering my tradition as I see the blonde haired woman run up to me and gently hold my hands as I make contact with her ocean clear blue eyes and see her genuine smile, "Hi you must be Lady Lucy Natsu's wife I'm Mavis you spoke to me on the phone we'd like to thank you for taking such good care of our Natsu we know he can be a bit of a handful." she said with a chuckle as I smile and nod ,"Natsu why don't you show your friends to their quarters" his older brother said before turning around with a wisk of his cape as his patite wife follows with her hair swaying in the wind as I watch them leave I soon glance at Natsu to see his face more serious then ever, I never seen Natsu's expression so serious before could it be because of his brother?, or could this just be the expression of a prince who would do anything for his people , I think to myself before following behind him as he showed all of our friends to their rooms as he took my hand as I was about to touch the door knob to one of the rooms and I look at him to see a pleading face as if he were begging me not to leave his side, I place my hand on his and give him a soft smile as I place my other hand on his cheek, " Natsu... ill always be by your side... but you know that its inappropriate for unmarried couples to sleep in the same room, we could get in serious trouble if the k-" I stop myself as Natsu's face scrunchs up, "if who? 'The King" finds out...he doesn't give two shits about a worthless prince like me!" Natsu shouts as he turns his head away from my hand as I feel abandoned, "Natsu that's not!-" he cuts me off once more, "-It is true Lucy! he doesn't care not about me, Wendy or Mavis all he cares about is this freaking Kingdom" he says as I pull him into a hug, "he could care about the salt in the ocean for all I care...Natsu to me YOUR what's important" I said as my grip around him tightens as I slowly pull apart from him and look at his eyes, "and as long as your alright... nothing or no one else matters" I say as I see tears slowly start to fall down his face as I take his hand and lead him into the room as I close the door behind him, "Lucy- don't your right I shouldn't be in here" he says reaching for the door knob as I take him hand unto mine, "but...you said you wanted me to stay by your side right...and I'm here" I say as he hugs me tightly and I smile rubbing his back, "where would I be without you Lucy" he says as I just slightly shrug my shoulders.

a few hours Later in the Kingdom of Slayroy

I turn my head to look at the clock to see the time 6:45 pm I say to myself as I look down to see Natsu asleep with his head on my lap as my back his propped p against the head board, when did we get like this? I don't remember...but that doesn't matter I guess...Natsu's sleep and I'm pretty sure he feels better , I think to myself before hearing a slight knock on the door as I turn my head to it, "its Mavis" said the voice as I then respond, "its open" I say as I simply look at Natsu brushing his salmon hair as he likes to call it out of his face, "Wow..." I turn to see Mavis her eyes sparkeling as she looks at me," your really beautiful" she says as I forgot my face wasn't cover as I quickly put my black vail over my head as she giggles as I look at her, "to bad your family tradition forbids you from showing your true face...your really beautiful, Natsu would have a hard time keeping guys away from you" she said as I look back at Natsu, "...a thousand guys could throw themselves at my feet offer me fame and riches, Natsu could walk up to me offering my nothing but a single rose or even just his heart.....and id still chose him over all those men because Natsu is the only prince for me" I say as I continue to brush his hair, "you must really love him" she says as she slightly sits on the bed careful not to wake Natsu, "why do you say that?" I question as she smiles at me, "because that sounds like something a woman in love would say" before I could respond a huge bang comes from the door as it bursts open to Mavis and I coming into contact with a girl with blue hair and brown eyes she was wearing a book bag and uniform could that be his little sister he was talking about? I question before being able to open my mouth and greet the girl she glares at Natsu, "NATTTSSSSUUUUUU!!!!!" she shouts Mavis and I covering our ears as Natsu then shouts and sits up quickly as he then looks around the room ,"Mavis what are you doing here?" he asks as her head is spinning from the loudness that just happened in the room I have to admit my head does also hurt, "Natsu!" the little girl yells but not as loud as the first time as Natsu finally turns his head to face her ,"Wendy!" he says with excitement as she jumps and hugs him as he falls back on the bed with her, "What are you doing here?, I thought you were over seas?" he asks as her face softens, "i heard...about dad" she says as the mood in the room grows dark and depressing, "but that's not the only reason I came early" she said standing up as we all looked at each other as she walked over to me, "so your my brothers new bride" she asks as I get flustered and nod my head, what does she mean by 'new'? , "you must be something if he chose you, he turned down so mean women already" she says as I look at Natsu to see his face red, "why are you wearing the vail are you ugly or something? do you have ache?" she says getting closer to my face as I unknowingly back up as reaches for my vail to remove it, "s-stop it Wendy! Lucy's family strickly prohibits her from showing her face to anyone but the her husband and his father before their married!"Natsu says as she backs up and pouts abit, "well that's boring now isn't it" she says as the wind blows threw the open window and my vail flies off my head and I try to catch it but fail as my eyes meet Wendy's and I see her face turn beat red, "I-I-i'm sorry" I say as Natsu grabs the vail and places it back on my head we then look at Wendy as she has a surprised expression, "your...shes......beautiful" she says as I grip my vail over my face , "Natsu shes really pretty is that why you picked her because if so I understand she gorgeous!" she continues making me blush, "no that's not why I picked her....more like...she picked me I felt as if she was someone that liked me for me and unlike the others never tried to change me for whatever reason she my have, Lucy is beyond more then I could've ever asked for...shes prefect in my eyes" Natsu says looking at me as my face turns even more red, "OK NOW NOW Wendy lets get you ready and leave these two love birds to be the ceremony will start any minute" Mavis says pushing Wendy out the room, "o-o-oh wait wait" she says before Mavis stops and she walks up to me as I'm surprised and she bows, "I'm sorry for all the rude things I said earlier it was inappropriate and rude, your really beautiful and I hope you take good care of my brother" she says before smiling and leaving out with Mavis as the door closes behind them as I'm in shock then Natsu suddenly takes off my vail," from now on...I'm the only one in Slayroy who gets to see your true beauty" he says as I nod my head and giggle.

At the funeral ceremony

Nastu has to be near his family for this moment and since I'm his wife I get to be right next to him as he requested, our friends weren't fare behind actually they sat a few rows back to give the royal family space, Natsu held my hand the whole time when it was time to barry the body Natsu lost it and by that I mean he broke down tears and all, I'm just glad I was there for him in his time of need. We later walk down an isle with a lot of press and villagers are there, "Prince Natsu, Prince Natsu" they shout trying to get his attention but his grip on my hand just tightens and we walk a little faster until a little voice called out to my Prince, "Natsu Nii-san" I turn my head to see a small group of village children as Natsu then let go of my hand and knelt down to the kids, "Hey minna thank you for coming it really ment a lot to my family" Natsu says with a grin as the children smile, "were glad we could attend Prince Natsu" said a little girl as Natsu chuckles and seeing his smile makes me happy then on little girl slightly tugs on my dress, "who are you" says this little girl as Natsu looks at her, "can you guys keep a secret" Natsu asked the kids as they got excited nodding their heads saying yes, as Natsu looks around and mostioned for the kids to come closer as they did, "shes my bride to be" he says as they gasp and cover their mouths, "but why is her face covered Nii-san" the little girl holding my dress says, "her family prohibits her from showing her face to anybody but her husband and his father" Natsu says as they all look down sad, "well its getting late you guys should run along home" he says as they wave by, "Bye Nii-san" ,"bye bye lady" the little girl holding my dress soon let go running to her friends she drops her teddy bear, I bend down to pick it up holding my vail so I can see as I look up to see her right in front of my I hand her the teddy bear, "thank you" she says shyly as I lift up my vail showing her my face as I smile and wink, "lets keep this between us ok" say giggling as her face glows smiling as she nods before bowing and running to catch up with her friends, I stand and take Natsu's hand as we walk into the banquet for his brothers corination, "wow Ms. heartfillia you are really good with kids "he says as I smile, "i could say the same thing to you" we start laughing as we see our friends, "yo flame brain you alright" Gray says in an effort to some what 'comfort' his friend ,"what are you worried ice pop" he says as gray sucks his teeth, "tch as if loser" he says slightly shoving Nasu into a guy behind him, we all turn to see a tall male with blonde hair, "oh I'm sorry we-....Sting!" I say in confusion , "Lucy?" said a woman in a beautiful gown with drinks in her hand, "Yukino what are you doing here?" I ask, "Stings friend that he used to write to's father passed what are you doing here?" she asked as we all look at Natsu, "uhh this is Natsu's fathers funeral" I say low as they look at each other, "wait did your they son of Slayroy?" sting asks as Natsu nods, "I'm the son of the Light and Shadow Kingdom you gave me and my brother and Exceed" he says as Natsu snaps his finger remembering, "OH I remember funny we wrote all the time but never told each other our names" he said as we laughed, "but Yukino I know your his girlfriend but why are you here?" I ask as she looks at me and smiles, "I'm from the kingdom of Celestia" she says as I gasp "me to but how come ive never seen you" I question as she chuckles, "I'm the princess of Celestia Spirit the west coast district not to fare from the main branch which is where you live I assume" she says as I smile, "d hate to inturrpt this moment but your brothers being crowned now" Gajeel says as we look at Zeref, "Ladies and gentlemen may I present your knew king and queen, King Zeref and Queen Mavis Dragneel" he says as I look at Natsu, "wasn't Dragneel your-" I start, "yeah...my mothers maiden name" he says as I see him smile ,"you know you'll make a great king Natsu" I say as he holds my hand again, "with you by my side...I sure will my queen" he says as I smile.

it doesn't matter what happens Natsu will always be my king and I his queen
