Dear Diary,

It's over. Highschool is done, for good. You don't even think about what you're going to do with your life until it's time to leave,and then you finally start to realize how real it all is. I wasn't very popular in highschool, but I wasn't NOT popular. I had all the friends a person like me needed. Alot of my friends were the subject of bullying, but I never was bullied much. Maybe it was my skater-like apearance (although I can't skate to save my life), or my tendency to have a bit of a temper, but the "mean girls" mostly stayed away from me. Today was graduation day, and I'm almost ready to put my master plan to effect. All my life, my parants have wanted me to be a brain surgeon, or a lawyer, or a sycholagyst. But that's not me. You see, Diary, I want to be a writer, and that's why I got you. I figured that writing in a diary would not only improve my writing skills, but also give me a little place to channel my emotions. I am leaving this tiny town in Texas tomorrow before my parents awake, and flying strait to Cali. I've saved up the money from my job at the local Taco Bell, and babysitting, and over time I've accumulated enough money for a plane ticket, and hopefully first months rent at whatever apartment's cheapest. I'm just going to hold off on college for a while, and just focuse on the novel I'm currently (attempting) to write. Well, Diary, I'm going to go finish packing for tomorrow.
