(Y/n) pov...
"Uhm sir." One of Roberts lackeys spoke. "What? I'm busy." He said to the man, growling while tightening his grip on my waist. "S-sorry, I just thought I should inform you about the assassin that has been following us." After I heard that I bit of hope filled my being. As I glanced behind us there was indeed an assassin. I didn't know who it was but I didn't care, I just wanted to go home. Roberts grip loosened, taking my chance I grabbed the reins, and turned the horse around. Thankfully I slung Robert off the saddle and knocked down a few templars that were in the way. As I took off towards the assassin I realized.. he had the same build, the same stoic face, and the same scar as a certain assassin I know. I let out groan, looking up at the sky. 'Why, I ask you why?' I stop the horse so he could hop on, which he did... however, he also wrapped one arm around me, the other grabbing the reins. I didn't say anything I just tensed a bit. Soon we were heading back to Masyaf. We had to loose some guards and templars on the way.
Time Skip...
It is now that I realized how far we actually were from home. I was tired, my butt hurt, and I just wanted to lay down. "Altair" I called out to him. "..." he didn't reply. "Altair, can we please rest or-" he cut me off. "No."
"But-"
"I said no."
"Please, we've been out here for hours and-"
"No, do not ask again."That got me to shut up. It frightened me as well, but it shouldn't surprise me. I was always told he was strict and cold hearted. Letting out a sigh. "Fine." I hopped off the saddle and began walking beside the horse. "What are you doing?" He asked. I shrugged, continuing to walk. "Get back up here." he demanded.
"No, I don't want to." I replied. I heard him huff, out of annoyance probably. "Alright, you win." He said hopping off the saddle and onto the ground. "We will rest until dawn then we keep moving." Altair then found somewhere to spread out a blanket before laying down. A smile graced my lips as I knew I finally got to sleep. I started a small fire near the blanket, not close enough to catch fire, close enough to feel warm. As I sat down on the blanket I watched the flames dance around for a bit. "Hurry up and lie down." A certain assassin mumbled. I did as I was told, using my arm as a pillow I got as comfortable as possible. Soon I was asleep.
