We both just stood there, not talking, not moving, I even stopped breathing as he began a long stride towards me and finally stopping in front of me. I glanced up and with a small gasp averted my eyes to the ground once more, for I found him looking down on me with a frown. "What do you mean, you don't know how to sword fight?" he asked in a surprisingly calm tone. I ran a hand through my (H/S/C) before stuttering out an, "I-I-I... Don't know." Letting out a frustrated sigh I walked over and slid down one of the fence posts to sit on the ground. I brought my knees to my chest and playing with the dirt as Altair walked over just to repeat in a somewhat  half confused tone,

 "You, Don't know?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed,  rather irritated. "I've never been taught..." I said, tossing my temporary sword to the side in frustration.

"Get up." He demanded immediately.

Scared that he was gonna yell at me or something, I stood reluctantly and asked, "W-why?" he then placed a sword in my hands, gets behind me and fixes my arms into a fighting position "Think of it like this, you will not learn anything by me kicking you're ass. So I am going to teach you". I gulp, and as I look over my shoulder I see him looking over my shoulder with his arms around me holding my arms in the position the were in previously, "face forward." he demanded.

"Head up."

"Do not be so tense"

"Stay focused"

Altair demanded constantly, while also showing me new skills and fighting tactics. I was grateful, happy he wasn't angry at me... Or at least, he didn't seem like it. "Remember..." He began, "every hit counts. Even if it is a small one, it can determine whether you win or lose."  and ended, in a very serious tone might I add.  After a while longer when the sun had finally set and almost everyone had gone inside. Altair called it a day and told me I should rest up for tomorrow as soon as I was done in the dining hall, and boy was I hungry!
