Elijah waited patiently. He looked around the area. Just like always, Seb had such a huge, bleeding heart. Always so desperate to help people and animals. There were all sorts of pictures up on the walls. He took a moment to walk around, exploring the waiting room of the clinic. He stuck his hands in his pockets and walked back and forth, waiting for Sebastian patiently.
He was facing away from Sebastian when he heard his name called. He turned around and laid his bright blue eyes on Seb, and cracked a wide smile. He walked over quickly, raising up his hands in excitement.
"Sebastian, how wonderful to see you!" He said, grabbing Sebastian's hand and gripping it firmly, shaking it. It was at this point that Sebastian would probably be able to read him, check his mind, scan him. He might find that more difficult than it had used to be. Or maybe Sebastian had finally listened to him and would stop reading the minds of people that were close to him. Elijah remembered quite a few fights like that.
"Sorry to come to your work like this, I just... I couldn't help it. I'm living right down on Moressey Avenue, and I see your little clinic on my way in every day, I could only do it for a few days before I just had to stop in." He squeezed Sebastian's fingers and finally let go, a bright smile on his face. Up close, bags under his eyes might be visible, the eyes that were a very different shade than Sebastian had seen last.
"Do you have a few minutes to grab a cup of coffee or something? I know you're so busy..." He trailed off, glancing around. "You've really perked this place up from when I was here last." He rested a hand on Sebastian's forearm, the soft smile still plastered on his face.
