It had been a year since you, Riley and Oscar became good friends. Oscar had warmed up to you guys and was now living in the tree house. He had a 'special corner' where he collected his favorite foods, things and blankets. He collected rocks, Oreos, grapes and had a big fluffy white blanket he adored.
Riley only ever hung out with you and Oscar. No one else. You find out Riley had dropped out of school, meaning you were the only one going to school. You went to a highschool called Northern High.
One day, the alarm went off, meaning that there was somebody in the school who could be a potential threat. You thought it was a drill at first. But then the teachers told everyone to stop working and get down on the floor. Usually your teachers ignored it. But this time it was real.
"THIS IS NOT A DRILL. DROP ALL PENS AND DUCK UNDER YOUR DESKS IMMEDIATELY"
"It's the killers!" one kid whispered harshly as everyone ducked down.
"The kidnappers!"
"They're after us!"
"HIDE!"
"Ssh!!" the teacher said harshly, going under their desk. "Pretend it's a drill"
Everyone stayed quiet as the lights flickered off.
